I looked through the Forum Fiance.com Search engine and could not find any posts regarding the city of Kharkov or (spelled Kharkiv as well) and Marriage Agencies in Kharkov, like "All Beautiful" (allbeautifu)Helen Owner,"A Kharkov Lady" (aukrainelady)(Vlad Owner), "Kharkovgirls"(kharkovgirls),"Ida-Bridge " (idi-bridge)Owner Sergey & Zoya.
Helen, the Owner from All Beautiful Agency "said she will only work with these 3 other local agencies since she does not know the other local agencies standards!!!"
I would like to know if other Forum members have been to the city of Kharkov, Ukraine and what feedback you have regarding the agency that you worked with while searching for your Special Ladies???
Hi Tex. I'm guessing you didn't notice my reply to you in my email forwarding thread so I cut and pasted it here for you.
Tex. I'm sure Martin is confident in his source about Cindy agency and probably has merit. But I used their email forwarding and have no complaints. Of course when you put your profile up on their website you will get spammed with letters from the ladies and I'm sure they are auto generated by Cindy agency. I never responded to them. Instead I wrote to two ladies on their site. Both gave their personal contact information freely. I then invited and met one of them in Kiev and had a wonderful time with her. I lost her to another guy but still she was real and legit. As to All beautiful agency I have met Helen personally. I dated a few of her ladies while I was in Kharkov. I also rented an apartment from her. I feel she runs an honest business. I never tried her email forwarding. If you do decide to go to Kharkov get in contact with me. I'm as close to an expert on the city that you will find here. I lived there last summer and have had four other one month trips there. I love Kharkov. Never seen so many beautiful women in one city in my life. It blows away Kiev, Odessa, Yalta, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. But they are mostly in the 18-24 age group. Kharkov is a huge University city so you're going to see a lot of beautiful young hot students from all over Ukraine.
Althought I didn't date any of his girls I have a few buddies who have and they were happy with his service. The owners name I think is Dimitrie. Helen works with him from time to time with apartments rentals. When do you plan to go there? Do you need an interpreter? All agencies will offer their interpreters but the rate will be higher. I always have two on my payroll. Good to have a back up. I have two girls I can refer to you if you need or want.
Deano,
Thanks for the thread update. I am planning on a trip for the Year 2006!!
I will make it my New Years resolution!!!
I have a question for you, What is the best way to get to Kharkov from USA??? Would I fly to Kiev then fly to Kharkov, or use train. Also another option is to arrange for car pickup in Kiev, Let me know since I'm planning on staying only 5 to 6 days in Kharkov???
Deano my last question to you is that my selected age group will be 33-40 what is my chances with that age group for Ladies with 1 or no children???
Tex,
Austrian Airlines operate to Kharkov from Vienna, they are part of the 'Star Alliance' which includes United Airlines & US Airways, see www.staralliance.com
There will be flights, I guess, via Moscow (but you'll probably need a Russian transit visa or 2) or it will be flight(s) to Kiev and for Ukraine internal flights from Kiev (make sure it's Borispol Airport) to Kharkov I can recommend www.ukrainefare.com/internal-flights.php
You can also try www.aerosvit.ua/eng for flights JFK to Kharkov (via Kiev).
Martin is correct regarding Austrian Airlines. I usually fly Northwest/KLM to Kiev. Then you have some options. Car taxi from Kiev to Kharkov will be about $125 to $150 one way and take about 4 to 5 hours. From what I remember there are two domestic flights to Kharkov. One in the morning and one at night about 8.30 pm. My international flights always arrive in the afternoon so the morning flight was never an option. I've taken the 8.30 pm flight once. It was a prop jet. Flying out of Zhulanie airport. A One hour flight and was $45 two years ago. I have since always used the new Express train from Kiev to Kharkov. It cost only $10 and takes 6 hours to get there. Only problem is you cant have someone buy your ticket in advance and the train leaves at 5.00 pm so if your plane arrives at 3.00 pm as mine did it doens't give me enough time to get my ticket. The train is very popular and sells out. So, I usually overnight in Kiev and then go the next morning to Kharkov. If I were to do it again I probably would go back to flying the domestic flight at 8.30 pm. It saves money in the long run because an overnight in Kiev will be about $100 to $150 when you factor in all the cost. Rent, taxi there and back. Interpreter or guide to help you buy tickets.
The 33-40 age will be no problem there if you are going to use the agencies. Do your homework first. Check all those websites you mentioned and select the ladies you want to meet and print out their profiles. I wouldn't even bother wasting time and money on correspondence. Just go there with your file full of profiles and pay the introduction date fee. It will be anywhere from $15-20 per girl. Kharkov has some excellent restaurants and it has the best disco I have ever seen in Ukraine. Your girl 33-40 age group would love it too! Get in touch when you're ready and I'll give you a good list of places.
Deano:
Nice Post of Information regarding Kharkov. I have heard that the Kharkov airport Customs department will perform complete security search of luggage and will make you empty everything out!!! It was mention that Customs Officers do NOT like Marriage seeking men in Kharkov and usually will give you a hard time with many delays in Kharkov Airport!!! Now in comparsion to Kiev Customs where there security concern is more about how much money is being declared at Kiev Customs. Recommendations were made to use pickup service which can be costly at $150 each way??? Any ideas regarding this experience at the Kharkov Airport???
Tex,
An American friend of mine, with his Uzbek wife, travelled to Kharkov earlier this year on Austrian Airlines, it was she that got the third degree from customs.
If you route via Kiev then you will clear customs in Kiev and simply walk off the aeroplane as a domestic passenger in Kharkov.
If you check the ukrainefare site above, there are flights from Borispol (KBP) to Kharkov and cheaper than a taxi. Ukrainefare, for a USD15 charge, will meet you at KBP to hand you the tickets personally, I've done this several times for my flights to Dnepropetrovsk, they're very good.
Martin_UK:
Thanks for info on Ukrainefare!!!
I put a random flight date in on their website "2006-Jan-28 VV 101 Kiev (KBP)14:50Kharkov(HRK)16:20 1hr 30 min $ 75" The price of $75 dollars and 1 1/2 hours beats the $125 or $150 dollars for car pickup-Thanks for the option!!!!
The flight number you quoted (VV 101) would be an Aerosvit flight. If you do not mind flying out of JFK it would be possible to take the daily Aerosvit flight that leaves at 6:55 pm and arrives in Kyiv at 11:20 am. That way you could book all the way through to Kharkov and might even save a couple of bucks.
Hi Everyone:
Thanks for all the great feedback on the travel to Kharkov!!!!!
I received an email from Helen from the All Beautiful Agency in Kharkov and their advice currently on this subject;
Hello Mark!
The round trip car transfer (Kiev - Kharkov and Kharkov - Kiev) will
be $300 ($150 one way).
Unfortunately at the moment we are not able to buy train tickets in
Kiev - we used to work with a person who did this for us, but now she cannot do it any more for us in Kiev, we have to find somebody else,so I cannot guarantee we will be able to do this service for you.
About train tickets availability, indeed it depends highly on the tme of the year, end of week, holiday season etc - sometimes they can be available right on the sport, or sometimes - well ahead sold out...
Its quite risky to rely on being able to buy them before the train leaves - its like a lottery in a way.
To answer your last question, we would recommend you car transfer -after all its the less trouble, and most effective - domestic planes and trains leave on schedule, and international flights arrivals are
very unstable - we have had cases before when connecting flight was delayed, thus a man would arrive into Kiev not at 14:00 but 17:00,
plus passing through customs/lines, he was late at 18:30 domestic flight to Kharkov...anyway, it all depends if you can afford the car transfer, and what is better option for you,
Sincerely,
Helen Demyanova

Tex,
It sounds to me like the agency are trying to sell you their taxi idea so that they can make their percentage on it. I've travelled by car across Ukraine on 3 occasions and it is not a pleasurable experience!
Martin
Tex I have heard the same rumor about Kharkov customs. Flying in from Kiev (As Martin pointed out) I didn't have to deal with customs in Kharkov. Kiev customs was a piece of cake. As I mentioned before you can't have a friend or interpreter buy your train tickets in advance. But some people have connections at the train station. I'm guessing Helen use to have an inside guy who could hook you up and reserve your ticket. It would seem she lost her inside guy. She is right about the train sevice being like the lottery. Depending on the day you can get a ticket easily or it is sold out. This car service doesn't seem like a bad deal really. It's point to point service and you can catch up on some sleep along the 5 hour drive. But this Ukrainefare sounds like the best deal as long as they do meet you at the airport with your tickets and help you find where you have to go. Then you just have Helen pick you up at the Kharkov Airport when you arrive. If they didn't meet you at the airport then it would be a pain in the ass to find your way and find your tickets. Unless you speak good Russian. I like this Ukrainefare idea and I'm curious how it would all work out. I would keep the taxi option as plan B. Good stuff gentleman! This is what this forum is all about!
Borispol airport is easy to navigate, you exit international terminal 'B', turn right, walk for approximately 2 minutes before arriving at domestic terminal 'A'. Just before the up-ramp to 'A' there is a nice little cafe (bar) if one has time to spare!
I can assure that ukrainefare are excellent, I have used them 4 or 5 times and they've always been there to meet me and they're a damn site cheaper than Aerosvit attempt to charge for 'online' domestic tickets, ukrainiefare's prices include tax, Aerosvit attempt to practically double the price with tax etc.
P.S.
Allow a minimum, minimum of 2 hours, international to domestic, connection time at KBP. Sometimes you can sail thru, other times it can take you up to 90 minutes to clear international at KBP.
Deano:
Thanks for the information!!!
Helen would arrange pickup and drop off if I fly into Kharkov airport. Helen Has Full Service Agency. It sounds like this is going to be Plan A "To fly into Kharkov Airport" !!!
I also will keep my Plan B as Car pickup which is more expensive and 5-6 hours vs Airplane 1 1/2 hours. Now of course I did not figure in the waiting at the airport for evening flight!!!
Your Right Deano, I just have to prepare for the worst case scenario with Customs in Kharkov!!!
Martin_UK:
You mentioned the thread "If you route via Kiev then you will clear customs in Kiev and simply walk off the aeroplane as a domestic passenger in Kharkov." Can you explain further regarding this??? If I purchase the Ticket in USA and make them connecting routes vs buying ticket in Kiev Airport???
Thanks Again,
Everyone for the great forum feedback on this subject. I know it will help me and others as well!!!
Tex, I book through from JFK to Lvov with no problem. You can book your flight on the Aerosvit web site, I book on the American Express web site. I have never come across any cheaper fares for this airline using the discount sites. The flight from JFK to Kyiv is direct, you clear customs in Kyiv then walk out the front of the terminal and walk to your right and you enter the domestic terminal to catch your flight to Kharkov. I have used Aerosvit three times and have not had them late to Kyiv, going from Kyiv to JFK is another story. I have been as late as one hour and a half leaving Kyiv so if you have a connecting flight on your return in The US leave yourself some time.
Tex,
In Ukraine there is no transitting as an international passenger, wherever your first landing is then that is where you clear customs. Therafter, to fly from Kiev to Kharkov is like travelling by bus, literally, you could be just a regularlar Ukrainian, no customs bullshit.
Book your tickets before you travel, whether it be Aerosvit NYC (JFK) to Kharkov or ukrainefare, domestic flights often become full and/or prices go up the longer you leave it, and lets face it, it's easier to buy a ticket online than trying to deal, face to face, with a Ukrainian travel agent, at least we speak the 'online' language!

Thanks for the information!!!!
Has anybody heard or use any of these agencies in Kharkov, like "All Beautiful" (allbeautifu)Helen Owner,"A Kharkov Lady" (aukrainelady)(Vlad Owner), "Kharkovgirls"(kharkovgirls),"Ida-Bridge " (idi-bridge)Owner Sergey & Zoya.
Helen, the Owner from All Beautiful Agency "said she will only work with these 3 other local agencies since she does not know the other local agencies standards!!!"
Let me know what other Agencies you have heard about in Kharkov????
Otherwise, Great posts of information from everybody!!!!!
Hi Everyone:
Has anyone worked with or knows someone who has worked with these other Agencies in Kharkov: Mordinson Introduction, Ukraineloves, or This Branch Office of Khersongirls in the city of Kharkov.
They have other Offices in Ukraine. I know Mordinson Introduction Service pricing for matchmaking for 7 & 10 days is
7 days - USD 2250,00
10 days -USD 2500,00
I believe they are in the more expensive pricing bracket for Agency Services when compared to other Agencies.
I have looked at other Agencies like Helen's who cost less and have a "personal touch" for their clients. Meaning they know their Lady clients very well so matchmaking is a easier process for them vs Larger Agencies.
One way they compete since they are smaller or medium Agency in size is to use other local Agencies as well for additional Lady profiles or meetings.
I made a post earlier regarding this service as previously noted in the Beginning of this Thread.
Let me know if you have any feedback on these Agencies or others?????
Since Kharkov is the second largest city in Ukraine. I know there must be some other Agencies working in this city of Kharkov????
