They pretend to befriend fiance.com and the moderator(s), except one that is who recently accused a moderator of being bisexual, but they don't care about anyone but themselves nor indeed the livelihood of the operators and staff of fiance.com. I should, I'm not saying I will, but I should refrain from posting here for a period of time. A joke is a joke however earlier today a criminal offence took place in this forum, understood to have been committed by a resident of South Africa, and under police advice it has been suggested that I take further legal advise before posting further. Also if the post is accurate, who said they were going to use a blade(knife) in the committment of such an act? I do not condone physical violence against another person. With that said, Martin has antagonized many people in this forum to potentially bring this kind of result. He has intentionally baited people, harassed people in this forum. Also I am sure fiance.com has kept all the posts from Martin and others they deleted in the past to protect themselves from exposure and liability. It's just like this thread, which was removed once because of the intentional and inflammatory nature to bait others. It did not succeed. As you and I have had many heated discussions and disagreements, and as you said mostly political, and I have taken your insults with a grain of salt, just words in the heat of battle. I would wish you and your wife no ill harm. Actually last night, I tried to send you an email, which was returned undeliverable, complimenting you on a post you made of me and my attitude towards Larisa. Wishing you and your wife much happiness, health and success in the coming year. I never supported Martin being banned from this forum, but some valid points have been made for his removal. He is a constant harasser, implicating everyone here that disagrees with him is a liar. He has been proven wrong in this accusation by others. He has admitted to placing another members profile on another dating website. Which was pretty derogatory, that the member was looking for women for sex only. That's pretty inflammatory. Which makes me wonder about a couple of other members profiles that were placed on gay websites and who initiated that? Made a wild accusation that I was on adultfriendfinder, but I think he has confused himself, he made that accusation against Izi. The list goes on and on. When I first joined this forum and I don't know exactly the date, but it was close to two years ago, this was an excellent place to gather information. Yeah, we had our bumps but nothing like this. If you go back and read many posts, everyone here including yourself in the beginning gave Martin the benefit of the doubt, including the people named in this above thread. In a year he has done nothing but disrupt this forum with his wild and accusatory behaviour. Which has lead to the alienation of many people, and inflamed fights with others that were not happening before. A rational person who did not intentionally want to create division in this forum would have stopped. The word gangingup has been used many times. Intelligent people, who see things that are wrong, or perceive something is done unjustly will respond in kind. I don't think that is ganging up. Also, an intelligent person on the receiving end of that, just might reflect on why such a response was made towards them and intelligently look inward to see if they were possibly wrong. This never happened. Just constant harassment, and multiple posts of silly diatribes. Hindsight is 20/20, though I may disagree with the removal of a person on this site, I am sure without a doubt in my mind if it was done, this forum would have never reached this point. Though sometimes things must hit the bottom before they can truly flourish again. A criminal offense committed. I don't think so. But that is a typical response from Martin, he was always the victim here and never the perpetrator here. Later Mike wtrav02 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 12/30/2005 7:34:52 PM   Nasfan, I'm not an attorney, so I can't tell you with 100% certainty that a criminal offense was committed, however, the threats seemed real, they were clear expressions of violence, had hints about weapons to be used, etc. As you and I know, there is a fine line between trash talk and real threats. When someone says to someone "I'll beat the hell out of you, and I promise you I'll try my best so that you will live at the end of my wrath" [please don't quote the exact wording, let's focus on the meaning], then such threat should be taken seriously by the recipient. If you go back and resurrect all the trash talk by everyone who's been around here for a while, my God! I don't think you can single out one person and point the finger and use this person as a scapegoat. I do believe in freedom of speech. The moderators so far remove posts that in their mind are offensive or upon a member's request. The moderators are not always perfect. For example, a childish post targeted at me and calling me names above has not been deleted, yet. When it comes to threats though, the least the moderators can do is to immediately ban the member who crossed the line. I am not sure what Martin intends to do, but if it were me, I would certainly look into my legal rights and try to protect myself from the person who launched these threats. How do we really know that this person is not obssesed with causing harm to Martin or others and now is even more pissed and means even more harm. Martin has been in the eye of the hurricane from the very beginning. It has been quick target and hit, and quite frankly, I admire his determination and patience for not getting too much out of line being the recipient of shots (many of them cheap ones) constantly from every possible angle. You are a former military man, and you must know what is to be dug in a foxhole and be targeted constantly by 6-7 snipers who are shooting at you from every possible direction. QuiteCharm has had similar experience, this other guy, I can't recall his name, who proposed the snail-mail method, had the same experience, and others with a shorter history of existence in this forum. I really don't intend to argue about these things anymore. I propose that we all make an effort to co-exist without insults. I will try my best to do my part. At the end of the day, we are all sitting on someone else's property posting and storing information onto this entity's server, and we must be careful of the potential financial damage our petty fights may be causing to this entity.
