Many people tell me it is difficult for her to get a visa to visit me for a short holiday (1 week) in the UK. Anybody have any tips on the best approach for a sucessful application? any advice at all is appreciated. Thanks for the reply, I have looked at the Embassy web site, and I think I understand correctly, visa applications need to be made in person in Kiev and supported by a letter of invitation form me with dates etc, and a letter form here emlpoyer stating she has good reason to return. I can show evidence of my support with funding for the stay and flights there and back, and assurances that my friend will return to the Ukraine. Is it important to be 'heavy' with the proof of realy freindship? eg coppies of all the letters and proof of my last to visits to see here and photos of us there etc?
