O.K basically what happened was, a few weeks back i wrote a typical introduction letter to a lady asking various non-personal questions. The next day i get a reply and couldn't help but notice that it had an 'Automatic Response' feel to it. Anyway believing it was just a mix up i sent a slightly altered but much the same type letter, only to get the same response? I contacted the 'Live Help' aid and we got talking about various matters and so i asked him about what his thoughts were on this topic ( i did not want to go straight in to it as he probably would rather not answer) and he let me know in a 'hush hush' manner that many agencies actually write 'Automatic Responses'!!!! as some girls simply do not have the time to reply to all of the letters we men send, and agencies do not want to loose their commission!!! I don't know about you guys but doesn't this defeat the whole purpose? I'd rather wait a month and get 'Her' response than from some dude in an agency the next day! what a piss take! sorry no, the piss take was when (hence this post today) she wrote me a few hours ago with an introductory style letter....as if she hadn't read any of my previous two letters which incidentally already answered the questions she is now asking me!, more proof she did not receive my letters!!! I understand this is not the case with every lady you write too.....but where do you draw the line.
Some agencies might be more creative than hers, equipped with the knowledge that only a small percentage of men will follow through, they may be leading you on for much longer periods than the two days it took me to suss it out....all in the name of commission.
P.S
I did write a few leeters before and now to fiance admin, they were apologetic, but thats as far as it went......all in the name of commission, dare i forget.
I don't know...I've had this experience too. A lady wrote back to me with a letter addressed "Hello, hello my new friend". It was obviously a form letter.
However, I wrote back and a few days later received what was obviously not a form letter, this time addressed to me. We corresponded pretty frequently after that; she always wrote back within a day or two.
Look at the letter count of some of these ladies; they get hundreds of letters. Most of these ladies work, take the bus, cook for their families, walk to the store, etc... They probably don't have time (or energy) to write to hundreds of guys.
It seems to me a reasonable way for a lady to weed out the guys that aren't really interested.
