i have been talking with this girl for a month. She wants to move to america and she wants to go to college or get a profession here because she will not be able to continue her education in her old country. she speaks pretty good english.
what kind of career or college can foreign girls go to?
A foreign woman can study any field that she so desires. Sure, the cost of college is an issue, but otherwise, there are no limits. She would need to understand English very well, so a year of ESL classes would be a good idea. My neighbor is from Kenya; she came to America to study nursing. She buckled down and learned English first and now she's in her third year and doing well.
If you are not resident of the state in which the college/university is located, you will have to pay out of state price for each credit you sign up for in college. Makes no difference where you are from...the key here is to establish residency first, not an easy task since you have to show you have lived in that state and if an adult probably have worked there also. Each state is different as to how long before you can claim residence of that state. For a US citizen registering to vote at the new state goes a long way at stablishing your residency. If this person is over 18, and unless you plan on adopting her legally (since you do live wherever state you live), she will have to pay out of state tuition. I hope this helps.
Honestly, before you start worrying about who will pay for college and what career she will have why don't you go and meet her? Taking for a month ain't enough to start planning your future together.
But anyway, just as an example...years ago my sister met a guy from a third-world country when she was doing public health work there. She brought him to the U.S. and they got married. He started out working at a cafe while he went to nightschool. Now he is the president of a college and travels the world giving lectures.
