Olga, I think it's great that you are offering some options for us. I really like the idea of being able to find out when a girl was registered and how many letters she has received. I'm curious about the email option. Isn't it true that most Russian girls can't afford email access?

Some can get to internet Cafes, some have email from work, and a very few have computers at home. They buy cards (like a phone card) loaded with ISP time. These cards are available all over the place with a wide selection of ISPs to choose from. Its like a Prepaid ISP. They Dial up the number on the card, log on and enter the card account number the the time starts clicking. they can log on to any web based mail account like hot mail or Yahoo. Or a Russian account like mail.ru , It can be costly and most cannot afford it. but some can. You never know. Hope this helps clear up your question... And you could have addressed the forum on this.. as you see we have the information also..

In fact internet access is not very expensive when one has a pc at home. As codered said, one can buy cards and a card costs 2$-10$(5-10 hours), if used for only sending and receiving e-mails, one can use those for months. In internet cafes the cost of using computer with internet access begins from 2$per hour.And its not a problem to open a free internet account.It will be 100% free. The problem is that if people dont have computers at home or at work, they dont know what to do with it, thats why they dont go internet cafes.Lets say, many of women in the agencies( I realy saw lots of those) have no idea of what internet or e-mail is.For them is cheaper to pay some membership fee and bring their data here, in hope to get messages, then to go to some computer classes and then do the same things themselves. Computers and internet are not common here, though in the last 4 years things changed a lot. Many have computers in the offices and many companies use e-mai communication,,,but here in internet cafees you will see lots of teenagers only, rarely adults use those for their purposes.I beleive that in some years things will change.

Olga, Thanks for the inside info. Sometimes it's hard for us in the US to imagine what it's like in Russia. Now I understand why you will be offering the variety of services, and I think it's a terrific plan.

Olga, I am planning the big trip to Russia and the Ukraine. I already speak German and Spanish.... where can I get a list of on-line Russian courses, and also a list of some good language schools in Russia and the Ukraine. Also, what is (are) the language(s) spoken in the Ukraine? Also, how long do you think it would take... in a concentrated full time school to learn Russian well enough to be a good companion.? Jona, let me compliment you on your unusual use of a forum to make personal comments that should be addressed in another venu (customer service hmmm what a concept). Also a simple search of the internet will reveal the answers to your questions. Your such an expert in language but you need Olga to hold your hand to find a Russian course and language schools? You can find go to Barns and Nobel. They have many courses on Russian there. The Best is Pimsleur Instant conversation which is 16 lessions (or www.pimsleur.com). A simple search on the internet will reveal in country schools. However, a concentrated full time school will take 6 months to a year to compleate in Russia. Your local University foreign languages department offers concentrated full time courses in Russian which is more practical to persue, Lastly, this subject is really in tune with the topic. (changes on www.dating-ru.com soon to come) If you will notice "the time starts clicking " came from me ..lol So you compliment and trip on your feet all at the same time. Wow!! I dont know what it takes for people to use a forum properly. You should have created another topic "Russian courses". Guys, you all seem to want to turn this forum to your personal "off topic" communications tool to Olga.. I can only determine that the concept of a forum is to complicated for some people. And email to Olga and her staff, is much to hard for you to do. (customer service hmmm what a concept).

hi Jona yep, CodeRed is right-<<the time starts clicking>> comes from him.Unfortuately i cant help with information about schools... I know nothing about it, really. In Ukraine people spek both Russian and Ukranian. As for the time needed to learn Russian-I think it depends on your language learning abilities, memory and practice available.many people say that Russian is difficult to learn...So I dont know how much time it takes. Prices for out new membership system are still under discussion, I will not tell you untill those will be finally confirmed.So, looks like today I have no answers at all, sorry .
