Each of their cultures has its good and bad points like anyone elses. I spend a great deal of time in PI for my work and know if I meet the right woman from either place I will be very happy. Finding a good wife there is very possible, i suggest to stay out of the big cities. Many many good sincere girls on the smaller islands. The biggest differences, are attitude and personality. PI girls are more personable, and will marry without regard to looks, personality just as long as he is good at heart. FSU girls put more worth on looks, wealth, manners, cleanliness and hygene. The biggest drawback on PI girls is that you have to support a family back home. (usually a huge family) The biggest drawback of FSU girls is sincerity. please note everybody.... these are generalizations based on my personal experiences. Don't worry about supporting the large family back in the Philippines it is not an issue with most of the woman I know there. Most of my friends will send back about 200 US per month to help their families survive. It is true that the unemployment rate approaches 50% and those with jobs are largely low paying ones. The PI woman will marry anyone who shows them they are a good person. To me this is very sad because it will not be real love that you get. Sincerity is a two way street. Also talking to someone on a webcam doesnt even remotely suggest any sincerity whatsoever. There are a few ladies in the FSU that have webcams that are not of the honest kind. Until you have been to the PI and really understand the motivation of some of the women there, which is not much different than women of the FSU, one is not better than the other. Though I will have to say the living conditions in the FSU are a bit more advanced than in the PI. Unless you get to some of the Major cities like Manila etc. After that the living conditions can come to downright deplorable. Been there, done that. I have been trying for months, even going as far as taking a marrige tour to Ukraine. No luck. Granted, the beauty of FSU ladies is beyond compare and i am still tempted to keep trying. Right now my hands are full with a girl from the PI and 2 girls in Peru. Still i keep thinking to myself to give FSU just one more try. Maybe a social would do the trick. I just have to keep reminding myself "beauty isn't everything" I have to really give credit to those who have found success in the FSU, you guys have truely found the needle in the haystack. I know some guys who have made 10 or more trips before they found success. Many of these ladies will have dozens of guys writing to them, they can pick and choose, and whilst age, country & physical appearance might be what tempts the lady to reply to you such an initial attraction won't stand the test of time if the guy, after the first few letters, doesn't seem serious or doesn't start talking about a meeting within a reasonable time span, perhaps 3 months. If I were doing this process all over again I wouldn't do a blitz and write to dozens of ladies in a single day or so, I would pick and choose and maybe write to one or two 'specials' per week and after a month or two one should find himself writing to a modest number of ladies. If one writes to 50 in a day and 15 respond then you're f*cked, you simply can't write personal and interesting letters to that number and you'll lose them. From the modest number there should be one or two that become favourites, pay them special attention, write to them from your heart and talk of a meeting within perhaps 3 months from the first letter. Start asking her about her city, her local airport, establish how to get there, she'll then be able to detect that you are serious but leave it a few letters before starting such a conversation, I always tried to let the ladies lead, raise a subject firtst, before I would talk about it. I just spent 5 months in south america and found girls tripping over to meet you. Just go to monte video uraguay ,argentina or Bolivia. Tons of girls there and easy to pick up. I still get them emailing everyday wanting to know when i am coming back. April 4th i am off to the ukraine to meet a girl i have been emailing for nearly a year , if that doesn't work out i am going back to south america. I have to learn russian in a week and know nothing !! I think you will be on your way back to south america real soon. Have you told your latina friends that you are going to Ukraine? If yes, what was their response?? To learn Russian fast, try pimsleur's. I learned quite a bit of basic russian in just a few days. It still was not enough to get by, but i found their system easy to learn some basic phrases that were helpful. I think we are very much alike in that we both are flying all over the world looking for just the right girl. Where in Manila will you be. It is a big place and hotels range widely in price. I will be in Manila and Cebu myself in mid May. Things are very inexpensive in PI. 3 star hotel is not like it is in the USA. They very widely. Do they have an internet site? There are many little hotels on the island. i can only recommend that you do not limit yourself by staying at one resort unless you know a girl who lives close by, move around the island, and mingle with the ladies. But do not go to social meeting! Normal ladies wouldn’t go to anything like that. First of all because she would feel like a thing on a market. I know for sure that they feel very humiliated there. Can you imagine 20 guys and 300 girls. Say there is one for you there. One, nice a bit shy and encouraged not to talk to you first, wait for you to notice. And there would be very aggressive ladies which have no desire to marry you ore anyone else, all they want to get to know you and may be scam for money later. I would advice Russian woman. They live in a better conditions and they do not have hopeless situations, they mostly looking for love. They are not trying just live, go anywhere with anyone just to run away from their county, go to better place with a man which she might not love but will live with for green card and to be taken care of. If you really looking for a FSU girl. Try to work this way. I am not a dreamer and I am not suggesting you to write only one girl and hope for a miracle. Try to find one now a big agency (one town one agency) find out who runs it. Look at the ladies from that town. Write the girls you like. Do not get involved with any one, or at least try not to, stay a friend, write friendly letters. Get to know them. Then suggest to come to that town and meet the girls you like the most in person. (or you can skip writing and just go where, to see them all in real life) them start to downsizing the Number. BUT remember almost all girls form the small agency knows each other. So if you write something to one there is a good chance that another one will know. But not necessarily. After you saw all of them in real life you’ll get an idea which ones you liked, start to develop something with them time will do it`s work some will show if they are interested in you, you might feel that you don`t like some one and so on. If you go to Russian, try to have 2-3 cities with small agencies and meetings lined up with girls. You can make small social, you and 2-5 girls all together. You all talk, having fun, like friends. Since you didn`t write to any one before there woudln`t be any hard feelings. You can honestly say that you are looking for a wife, soul mate but there so much dishonesty in the web and you want to see that you are writing to a real girls for a beginning. Suggest your friendship. Be open. Oh they will like it. Do you feel where I am going? They are afraid too.
