So I have been writing these 2 women for MONTHS now. I sent and received 19 emails from 1 and the other it was more like 30 emails. Both named Nataha. One age is 26 and the other age is 29. Natasha(29) lives in Ukraine and one lives in Moldova. They are both saying "Come Visit Me!". We got to the point of asking and talking about preneptual agreements and lifestyle. I gave Natasha(26) a very detailed letter about my first (BAD) K-1 Fiancee experience. She was very understanding in her letter, and re-iterated her desire to become my wife.
So I submit a request to Fiance.Com CUSTOM TOURS page requesting information and help in planning a trip to visit both girls. (I think it is Invoice #: 87535684). Nobody ever got back to me. After I did that Natasha(26) quit writing me. Before she did, I asked her for her phone number, and I called the number but the person hung up on me. So I immediately sent another message explining the conversation, and she never replied back.
Natasha(29) wrote to me saying "I am not the right girl for you", and we have broken off communications. I checked her message count and she doesn't appear to be writing many others, but I assume she may have found someone wealthier than me. (It is easy cause I have a middle class professional job.) I don't understand what happened. Maybe the agency called them explaining that I want to make a trip to see them and asked if they were serious about me. I didn't have either's home address, so I would have needed that before I felt comfortable booking a plane trip.
Maybe the agency called them explaining that I wasn't serious about the girl because I was writing and trying to visit another.
Did anybody else have this happen where they tried to book a trip through the "Custom Tours" option only to get dumped by the girl they were considering visiting?
........:):)!!!!!.....ohhhhh. ..let me pick myself up off the floor of my Odessa flat, I am laughing so hard:)!!!!!!!!.......oh, this is too much, this is a classic post that veteran forum members will want to save in their favorites......:)
disc999golfer999, please don't be offended, I'm not laughing at you, it's the situation you find yourself in through no fault of your own. Your story is such a illustrative text-book example of a subject I've hammered on multiple times and it obviously needs to be repeated at least once a week for the newbies coming on board.
So before I continue......disc999golfer999, I want you to sit-down, take a deep-breath, and get a hold of yourself because this will come as a shock to you, now brace yourself:
disc999golfer999.....hmmm-hmmm...ah..well..ah...the women in the photos were not the ones writing you the letters or reading yours. In fact, there's even the possiblity that you were corresponding with men. You see, this is how the system works.
Contrary to agency propanda, most good-looking women in the FSU or anywhere else don't want to spend their life writing letters to some guy on the other side of the planet. This leaves the affiliate agencies in a bind because most men don't want to write the majority of women who make up the ranks of their membership. To quote Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde" these are the "unfortunate looking" women.
This reduces the incentive for most men to spend thousands of dollars, make several trans-ocean voyages, and spend weeks on government paperwork to bring home one of the legitimate ladies. Therefore, no commissions to be made on correspondence. So if you see a good looking girl listed through an agency, chances are about 98% that one of the following applies:
1.) She has no idea her info is posted on an agency website. (She may vaguely re-collect having sent in photos to a modeling agency once).
2.) She knows, but a friend submitted them for her once without her consent and she has no real interest in meeting a foreign man.
3.) She knows and is in collusion with the agency for compensation. Her role may be limited to just saying "Oh yeah, I wrote the letters." But if it comes to actually have to meet with the corresponding man her agreement probably won't cover it, in which case you'll get the "Dear John Letter" the moment you anounce your bags are packed and taxi is waiting to take you to the airport.
Now disc999golfer999, knowing this, plug that information into the puzzle you've outlined above and the answers are quite clear. If you actually showed-up, they'd have to produce a body. The "girls" you thought you are writing probably aren't on the take, or not so much that they'd want to waste their time going along with some charade if you showed-up.
This is just a simple case of an affiliate spewing out phoney correspondence, milking you for all they could until the time came when you were going to actually show-up. Either way, you can be virtually certain that neither of them have the faintest clue who you are and have never even seen one of your letters.
Moldova and Odessa are the worst offenders of all the affiliates on this network. This has been brought-up to their attention many times and nothing ever really happens. Now the moderaters will tell you to bring this to their attention, you will, they'll "research" it and send you back confirmation that the girl "really exists"....which of course she does, but that's not your real issue which is: does she have even an inkling about who I am.
Case in point: The day before yesterday, I had my friend / translator here in Odessa contact Ekaterina 48923, formerly listed on this site. I'd written and received many letters from "her." She "CLAIMED" she had absolutely no idea about her profile ever being listed on the website and was in a big hurry to get-off the phone. She's now longer listed here, they finally pulled her after I called the bluff. You can still find her photo by right mouse clicking on any profile photo, copying and pasting the photo url, and substituting her number.
This afternoon and this week, I will be tracking down some more of these scam profiles and affiliates here in Odessa.
yes buffed, that agency was removved form the site long time ago. again this site i snot an agency, it is normal personals/dating site. one must use his brains to not be scamed.
disc999golfer999. nobody got to you? we usually responce withing 24 hours. email me directly. custom tour is NOHOW connected to any agency or lady. fiance.com just helps you to get visa, hotel, interpreter if you need help. again email me directly I will check your situation.
In some ways I am a newbee, but in 1999 I sponsored a Russian Girl to come to the USA under the K-1 Visa Plan. I met her while doing a personal search through Elegy.com's Marriage Site. She had her own e-mail address, and she claimed after she arrived that she did not write her own Profile on this site. :} I believe her.
I had her return ticket ordered with in 3 weeks of her arrival. Too much "Fraud and Scam" accompinied by massive Game Playing (Mind Games)! She had her own e-mail and she prompted me to start directly messaging her instead of using the Agency E-mail. So after a while we only communicated this way. I visited her in November 1999. She lived in Ekaterinburg. I arrived back and started the K-1 Visa application process. After I received her application materials one document she had included was her "Disillusion of Marriage". That is how I found out that she was previously married and was divorced. She divorced only 3 months before I started corresponding with her. She was 24 at the time. I was surprised, and I did not ask her about the paper yet. I would call her every day, and we almost always had a 30 second conversation. I would ask how is the weather, and how are you. I had already paid many thousands of dollars to this point. I mean I traveled to Russia $3,000.00, and my attorney cost me $1,500.00.
So after she arrives she starts playing all these manipulative "mind games"! I helped her get a volunteer position at the local Russian refugee agency. She met this girl there called Tatiyana. Tatiyana was a translator at the agency. Within the 1st week, she was borrowing money from her. Here is what happened: Anna arrives home with Tatiyana. (Tatiyana is a young girl 25 who has never married and has no boyfriend. She does not understand the requirements of a marriage or committed relationship that is required for a marriage to work.) So Anna and I are sitting and we are agreeing on what we need for dinner. She gives me a list of things to do while her and Tatiyana spend my money at the store.
Anna goes with a shopping list, and get everything on the list plus spend 2 times as much money as we had agreed upon. She borrowed money from Tatiyana. Tatiyana became her financial provider. Since Tatiyana is a native Russian speaker, she and Anna develop this strong emotional bond. Anna got stolen away from me. One day I am driving with Anna and Tatiyana in the car and Anna wants to sit in back so she can talk to Tatiyana. They became the couple, and I became the third person. When I needed my girl, she was with her friend Tatiyana. Anna's relationship with Tatiyana pre-empted my relationship with my potential wife.
After she had been living with me for 6 weeks I asked her about her marriage. She got really quiet, and defensive. She tried to claim that she told me in her first or second letter. I produced the letters, to show her that she lied. I do not care if someone has been married or not. To me the key item is that she was hiding something.
After I sent Anna back to Russia the marriage agency called her and explained that her fraud and scam tricks were not appreciated. Anna was surprised because she did not know that I was in communication with them. When I did the Personal Search service their arrangement was to have me pay $600 up front, and then $400 more once my girl got her K-1 VISA approved. They called me and I paid them. Anna never paid her fees and the agency was mad at her. Anna told me the Agency called her before she came to America asking for payment, and Anna had tricked them.
I also filed fraud charges against this Tatiana person, and hauled her up in front on the Judge!
Anyway, I am not a newbee, and I do read all the posts. I learn something new every day.
I even have my own "Russian Bride Scam" website just like:
www.womenrussia.com
www.anti-scammer.org
I have stories posted on both those sites as well as links to my own website.
Olga, I am not sure of your e-mail address. I am also known as "disc999golfer99" on the marriage site.
I have posted a detailed reply under a new thread.
By the way Olga, interesting you mentioned using brains not be scammed. Then why does fiance.com claim to be scammed by these affiliates on a regular basis? ....Don't you ever get a clue when an affiliate lists women who look like the finalists in the Miss Ukraine contest? Instead, you pretend to be "born yesterday" in incident after incident.
Please post any relpies to this in the new thread.
buffed, what I said has to do with life in general and using internet. also what you said has been said many times in this forum , make search. people, listen to Buffed and do not use dating sites:)
disc999, my email address , admin@fiance.com
I also sent the Admin team information about another profile of a person who has 3 profiles posted on this site.
Irina A. 62864, Irina 56388 (deleted), and Irina 41025.
She has had 3 different profiles posted on this site. Well I let the admin's know so hopefully they will take action. I don't think she is looking for a marriage.
On the main page of fiance.com on the lower right hand side, the last bullet item under "Feel safe using our services..." it states:
"Offices in USA and Russia. We verify every russian lady and agency registered with us."
Given what I have read here, I wonder (1) who is the "we", (2) what does "verify" really mean, and (3) what exactly is being verified.
I think the general advice I have seen repeated many places about any online introduction service is beware any service which charges on a "per letter" basis. The "per letter" scheme gives incentive for fraud by those who stand to gain from per letter fees.
we stands for www.fiance.com administration, verify - means we verify a lady's identity, her current place of residence and her contact phone number before placing her ID online.
WE do not charge on a per-letter basis, you only pay the membership fee for 1 month correspondence.
For more questions - please feel free to email at admin@fiance.com.
Best regards,
