Fortunately, I found the blacklist in Google. I remembered her telling me Russian men treated women like crap, so I emailed her back and said Russian men were the same in America. The Russian Mafia promised women jobs in America as secretaries, then put them to work as prostitutes. All of this is true, but I took some creative embellishments on the next part. I told her the police were close to shutting down one of their sex houses, and they killed all the women so they couldn't testify. I have never heard from her again. And, she never got a dime. But I wish I would hear from her one more time to thank her. Because of that scammer, I found this site. Now I am planning to take a trip to Moldova to meet a great lady I met here. I know for a fact that a Russian girl entering an Schengen country on a tourist visa ( that is the type of visa issued to up to 3 month visit) must show that she has money to support herself in that country. I know that she must show the money in valid currency to get the visa issued and that is about 650 euros per month, if ( pay notice to this) she can show that the person that is inviting her does provide her a place to stay ( in his home) If she can not prove she has a place to stay the amount of money doubles!! Here in Iceland the support money per day is 2000 Icelandic krona and 4000 per day if she has no place to stay..2000x30days=60.000=641.84 Euros. You can not as an inviting person gurentee that you will support her, then it is possible for you to misuse her , SHE must show that she got the mony prior leaving to Schengen country. This rules are for a fact here in Iceland and in oather Scandinavia countrys( moastly I think , because they like to have their rules similar). I know for a fact that it has come much harder for people in Russia and Ukraine( and oather countrys that are not one of the "new" Europe countrys)to get work or tourist visa to Europe/ Schengen countrys. Never send money for tickets, book and pay for them them online or at your local travel agent, arrange for her to collect them locally, making sure they are non refundable (by her) tickets, or you can courier them to her. Now what is remaining? USD50-100 for a visa, if she wants USD500 to travel to the consulate for her visa then tell her to fock off, and she'll need to get to her local airport, let's say a maximum of USD50. USD150 is a damn site less than what guys are regularly being scammed for and this same scam must have been going on for some 10 years! In my case, my former woman was Australian and I am a European Union Citizen and had to prove I had 4000€ on my bank account to be granted a Visa to enter Australia, and show a letter from her family showing their income since they were going to provide a logement for me. I must say that this was not an ordinary 3 month tourist visa, but a 6 month special visa, but without right to work there. So, I am aware of scams, but also I wonder if that many girl´s salaries on these conutries are low and travel expenses are high, it is so strange that they would need economical help to travel to your country? In my country many inmigrants from these countries offer money to locals to get married and get a residence. I guess that if many of these girls would have the money to travel and to support a possible failure in their stay, they would probably just travel here directly and try to find a residence and a couple once they´re here. Learning from one's own mistakes! for what its worth -well if you listen to me or not iam not really fussed ! everybody these days will in fact believe what they wish to . Everybody is different in both expectations and what they visit the place for ( be it like most aussies favour !) the ''forever girlfriend '' type life ( which i can tell you is far less a headache ! than the marriage trail! Or you can go down the chequered trail -thats surrounded by deception , wroughts whatever? At the end of the day ive several tips for you ( iam a seven year veteran - many trips - got a great girl in the end, but ohh talk of a minefield !!. The visa scam --send monies -- no forget it -like some guy said drive around toss it out your car window = same result and giving them $$$ . [ a good tip from yours truly --if speaking to her on a intro line -and when you are both keen on each other - yet you look on the line and she is still registered as live to speak to others - ok give her the axe !!! as if genuine she would deregister at once ( i mean how many guys does she want? ) = crooked girl thats what it equals . [Another good tip you know you go there and after 2 weeks she turns turtle on you - no not allowed ! she obviously has zero idea of the $$$ involved of you being there . don't wear that for one second -----get that all ironed out and starched with her before you leave home. None of this rubbish ohh my dear prince i like you and thanks for solving my poverty problem whilst you were hear -- its a shame the fares and accom cost you 6k -very sad she says -hope you find your diamond in life ---( as she races back to her $300 a month job ). [ the other ruse you know of how they were all going ok --until you turned up suddenly thier world collapses financialy --eg the rent is due ! mum's sick ,ohh its clothes i need ! all the rackets you know - dont fall like a buffalo for all that crap. [i fell for all that years ago - but then you meet a few guys like 1 aussie i met whom really did have it all ''down pat''. and you soon realise that you have had ATM, scrawled on your back ! and Prize mug '' written on your T shirt . [i followed guidence of the couple of aussies i met and i was instantly on the right trail . [ still some pit falls ! and yes if they speak to many on these intro sites -instead of just you well i would not entertain them for a moment .as that spells deciet with a capitol D. ( SPECIALY WHEN THEY HAVE COME THE COMMITMENT TO YOU ). The scammers look i dont know there are so many twists and turns in thier roads that ok like some have said you can search on google find your scammer and next day she is all brand new again with all new pics . I think the way around the scammers is say well i will help you dear ( but when iam thier and its face to face )! ask phone number / address - if you dont get it at once then thier is something rotten in the fridge . Remember there are millions of them ! you can take your pic lay cards on table - no nonsence cards be direct - dont fall for all the head cases ohh do i love you / do i not its all rubbish ! either they want a good guy look after them forever or not!its really that simple ! good looking girls -sure - you might look like a water buffalo - but that means nothing ! age i found well to me means nothing ( mine is 25 years my juniour -i dont have a worry !) In cases in the world well in our situation western guys -dont lose sight of exactly whom holds all the golden offers -------we do --as so many others have commented on forums ! we have the tickets to the far better life ------apart from real good looks and $300 a month what else can they offer to us . Once you lose sight of those facts then you are ruled buy under your belt - you lose your mind then , your edge , your rationale, ----never forget whom is thier for whom! Any guy whom goes there and is cast in the spare room so to speak whilst she dwells on wheather she loves him or not is getting a total raw deal - love him or not the very least she can do in gratitude is give him / a sterling good time for all his huge expences and commitment for trying to make something work for her . ANY girl whom gets a guy to go there meets him , and then decide' he's not the one ! and there is no good time ! well thats the untimate insult --going to let the man down at least have the decency to let him go home with a great memory of a great bedtime ! its cost him --what for generalisation sake ($5000/ $7000 ) be the dearest bad time in his life (its cost the girl nothing !!) after all his trouble visas planes , savings . Guys we all go thier for one thing anybody who says they do not is a Liar !- what they seemingly dont realise / cant see is that we can trot down to our local house of ill fame get the satisfaction on the spot --its not going to cost us $7000 is it ! Over 7 years of going to russia / ukraine ive come to total conclusion we are doing them a huge favour - costing ourselves lots of dollars to boot. the least they can do is try try try a lot harder to hold up thier end of the bargain . One last thing and i found this too was just not acceptable -they keep working whilst your there the ohhh il meet you at 4 pm ! no its not good enough make sure they have as much free time as you do -----dont listen to the rubbish ohh i can't do it ! if she wants you as other half / she will make it happen anything less in a wrought. Tell you what though not all are scammers id say 20% have had thier pics and details pinched from them and are used by real scammers without the girls knowledge as i know of a girl recently married to a guy whom was written up as a acammer everywhere --ive met her , she aint no scammer thats for sure . She was the VICTIM ! JUST ANOTHER OF RUSSIAS LOVELY UNKNOWN PIT FALLS ! the innocent get crucified too. NOT GOOD ! And when you think its all for just a few $$$ --i really dont know why they bother as i could hardly say its a ''big bux '' industry at what $30 of one guy $40 off another, huh in western country nobody would bother ay ----------why would you risk jail time for $100 or so. $100 not even worth drawing breath over - i would not get out of bed for $200 !!!!!
