I am newcomer on this this site and this forum, I have a doubt and I am sure I must not be the only one.
I have sent introduction letters to a couple of girls wich profile is rather old on the site. I havenīt got an answer or a receipt confirmation yet. Of course it is possible that they are not interested, but, I wonder if these girls are still availabe and active on the site. How can I know?
Does Fiance.com delete the profiles if the member doesnīt show up for a while? Am I writting to a girl that maybe "is not there" any more?
I donīt mean that I distrust the honesty or professionality of fiance.com, til now I am quite happy, but I understand that, when you have thousands of members, this may happens. Or not?
We remove profiles that request their profiles to be removed, or when they are reported of some suspicious activity or when they fail verification. Also, if a certain profile doesn't respond to emails that are sent to her for more than a week, we call her to make sure that she is still interested in placing her profile on fiance.com or not.
You are welcome to email the ladies' IDs to admin@fiance.com - we will call them and find out why they are not replying.
So, much like an email, the woman would have to click acknowledge recieved for the sender to get the receipt comfirmation.
It would be good if that could be automated. Then you would at least know someone was there and that your letter had been read.
Yes, when a letter is sent thru www.fiance.com - then a notification does get sent to the member who's sent this message. And it also works vice versa. A lady gets a notification email when a man read her letter to him.
What I was referring to in my previous post is for personal correspondence (not through our website), in this case there's no automated response.
