My questions are: 1) Should I wrap the gifts before I leave? 2) Is there any significance in the colour of the paper? 3) Is one gift considered adequate per person? I mean, if you don't wrap them - they will be received with just the same delight and joy. Also I don't believe there's any special significance attached to the color of the paper so use any color you like. One gift per person is always perfect. If you choose to give someone two gifts - then give two to every other member of her family. That's how it works best.
