Hello all!
I just came back from Novosibirsk and Moscow. Had a great time with my lady. We have decided to go through the fiance process and while that is going through, about 8 to 10 months on average I plan on returning to see her in November.
Since I visited her in July the Aeroflot fare was quite high. Los Angeles to Moscow to Novosibirsk, round trip was $1740 dollars. Part of that was because I booked late. Right now the same flights in November are about 900 dollars. I heard a rumour that Aeroflot lowers their fares even further if you book in September for November travel. The rumour is that they are trying to fill airplanes during non-peak travel times. Has anyone heard if this is true? I would hate to book my flights later only to see them higher.
By the way the Moscow and the Kremlin was amazing. Expensive city though.
Depends if there is a 'fuel surcharge' in the small print of the booking terms & conditions whereas they can still charge you for an increase in fuel prices even after you book and pay for the ticket.
Flights are always cheaper off season,(like after September, until maybe April), & fuel prices also come into play, for sure... My first trip to Russia, moscow, was $1350 round trip the next two were only $850 During November & March... My next trip to the Ukraine, will cost $2,100 for August, Yes, they went up like crazy...
