I started a basic profile last week and got 4 letters over the weekend, and a 5th with activating my VIP account. I have read ALOT of negative comments about this all being a scam. I am not sure what I am looking for I just want to see where this takes me, I am a cynic at heart, but I would like to see the good in things. They are the married guys I know of, and they've all been a help to me. As for my experience, this site's been legit. I can honestly tell you that she was NOT a scam. I met her last month in Novosibirsk Russia, I spent my time living in her house. Spent a lot of time with her children. Met and partied with her mother and father. Great people. I am sure there are scams everywhere but I think I found what I was looking for. She is 43 and I am 45 years old. Her body is amazing and she takes care of herself. Not like my american ex-wife. She is a great cook. I put on 9 pounds while I was there. I'm back in the gym to shed it. The Russian dishes were great. You have to be realistic in your search. I do not know how old you are but finding someone close to your age makes the compatibility much easier. It helps that my lady has a computer and can speak some english. Whatever she does not understand she puts through a translator program. She is intelligent and family oriented. We were very affectionate towards each other so chemistry is very important. I have also learned some Russian. This showed her and her family that I was serious. My best advice to to look at the profile and start sending some intelligent e-mails. I don't have the experience that others have. I learnt a lot in this forum. Nobody said this is all an scam, but that there are scams happening. Most scams reported in this forum come from girls met in free internet dating sites, kind of Match.com. The case of Lucky_Luck has been the most recent. There are many discouraging experiences related here. But they are their own personal experiences and impressions. In many cases they may be result of a wrong attitude. I haven't yet met the man that never had a fiasco with a woman. You should be cautious, and think with your head, like Olga says. The fact that a girl post a profile to find a foreign husband doesn't mean that she's easy. She will be even more cautious than you. Many men has been scammed a few hundred $. But many girls find themselves alone in an strange country living with the wrong man. In Barcelona, last year, a famous serial killer was arrested and he was living with a Russian woman that just came from Russia the week before to live with him.
