I have a question, I have been corresponding with a lady for about three months now and have asked for her address twice. I have given her my own domicile address but was not allowed to give her my e-mail addreess. (per the agency as they will be removed) So my only means of communicating with this lady is through tokens that i must purchase. I have yet to receive a domicile address, e-mail address or phone number of this individual. Could it be that the agency whom i have been going through intentionally removed her personal information? As to force the customer to purchase more and more tokens if he wishes to continue corresponding with russian ladies. Is there any solution to a situation like this?
Some scam agencys will use this process and no real lady exist. There is no actual being to be real. They are selling you letters that could be written by anyone. Or she may be real and is hindered by this agency. However if she was real and she wanted you to have her address I am sure she would find a way. I have never delt with an agency that acts as you have stated. I have heard of them but never went neqar them. I would suggest you find another agency like Dating.ru that does not hinder the process of your communications. I think Olga will be better at answering your question than I am. I would not deal with such an agency in the first place and I would not recommend a client to use one like that. Seems your only bying letters that could be written by anybody. But I'll leave this question to Olga. What is the name of this agency anyway? Id like to know so I can check them out on my own. and Maybe Olga can help you better if she knows the name of them. Well good luck, and wait for Olga to respond. It may be 12 hours or so from now. Its only 11 pm there. Im sure shell get to your question in the morning.
CodeRed, thanks for your response. The name of the agency is Introglobe (introglobe.com). And to give the folks here some further enlightment, this agency let's you register for free. Once registered, they bombard you with all these "you have a received from" whatever the lady's name. So if you don't catch on quick, you think they are writing you because they find an interest in you when in actuality, you are the one intiating the first means of communication. So, if they choose so, they will reply and if not, you are out on tokens.
Secondly, what i experienced was, they edit the letters that are being sent. Again, if you input your e-mail address, that gets removed. Just really gets you you to wondering.
You are probably wondering why after all this why did i stick it out. Well, the lady i am corresponding with, we seem to have really hit it off. (or at least i hope she is who she is). But i would rather find other means of communication, preferably directly with her.
I'd hate to drop this agency and have her wondering what happened to me. Even more, they feed her some line of bull that i all of a sudden lost interest in her.
Maybe Olga knows a way to find her for you and move her to a better agency. She is the expert here. So I think its best I let her handel this with you. I know how you feel. You like this lady and you want to continue with her but the Agency she is with is in compleate control. I hope Olga can help you. I wish you the best!! Good Luck!!
Abarazza, this is not the only agency that deploys this scam and you're not the only one who has been scammed this way. An agency called ANASTASIA INTERNATIONAL (www.anastasiaweb.com)does the exact same thing (dating-ru has surprisingly a partnership with these crooks). I signed up for free a long time ago and purchased "tokens" or credits they call them each credit costs $6. As soon as I signed up, I received over 100 emails with pictures, etc. in one week. Each time you open an email, you spend 1 credit, i.e. $6. Then if you want to reply, you spend another credit and so on. You are not allowed to write more than 2,500 characters (i.e. paragraphs). Needless to say all the letters I received and those that I answered and received second and third mails were generic, bounce back type letters. I ended up spending over $200 in less than 2 weeks having accomplished absolutely nothing. Also, I was warned each time that if I write or request an email address, the software will detect it and erase it automatically. I was advised that if I want the girl's email, then I would have to purchase the snail mail address for $10, send the girl a letter and request her email. As strange as it may sound these crooks have been able to get around with this scam for years and are one of the sites that thrive on the dating scam.
My advice is this: find a dating site that doesn't put restrictions on your communication with girls. Find 2-3 girls , establish correspondence and then go to see them asap. Get familiar with getting around in Ukraine or Russia and you'll find that the easiest and best way to meet girls is when you are there. There are many meeting places and many girls like the idea of meeting a foreigner.
Good luck and don't forget CIS is the land of crooks with very few exceptions.
CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) includes Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. An association of former Soviet republics that was established to help ease the dissolution of the Soviet Union and coordinate interrepublican affairs. Its not a land or a single government. ie - They are not a land of crooks. In Fact "ANASTASIA INTERNATIONAL" is an American company owned by 3 American business men in Phoenix Arizona. So the crooks are on both sides of the Ocean.
The point is abarraza is looking for a suggestion on how to keep the girl he is intrested in if infact she is for real. This is a area for Olga to address. Maybe she can help him. If you can answer his question in point please chime in.
Ok, you're right the crooks are on both sides. I believe Anastasia is a family business run out of New England, I believe NH. The guys from AZ run afa. As for the advice, I think it is as simple as contacting the agency directly and asking them to sell him the girl's address. They must have this option available, but if not they will sell. Then he can send an express mail to her, verify with flowers, etc. If they don't sell, then it's definitely scam and he should move on, there are many real girls on other sites. I think what he's asking is also some information on the type of corrspondence scam.
Sounds like a good Idea wtrav02. Bravo! abarraza I would do that. contacting the agency directly and asking them to sell you the girl's address. Then send an express mail to her and aske her to move to a different agency in your mail suggest one to her with contact info. (im particular to Dating-ru). Ask if she has an email and a phone number. And lastly verify her with flowers with the address they sell you. Go through a different agency for the verification (im particular to Dating-ru). Olga what do you think?
I completely agree with CodeRed and wtrav02. If they will sell you girls address, there are at least two ways to check if she is real-
-send her letter by registered mail( or telegramm) directly
-order flower delivery and address verification.
You need ti check first if this person really exist and then if she exists, find out if she was the one who wrote letters to you and if she is interested. If she is, with this address you can send her letters via www.russianservice.com or may be she has her own ways of communication( e-mail at work, of internet cafee close by).Though tha agencies are really helpful( translational and mailforwarding services), the less people are involved in this process the better ;-) Sometimes it is not possible because ladies have limited opportunities,,,but you never know until you find it out for sure!
id like to think that "anastasiadat" was real but you can never be too careful, one of the ways id check to see if it was legit would be to request a video chat and phone chat with the selected ladies, but not be limitting myself to just the one chat, might sound snakey, but im sure it would give me a better idea of what was really going on. they seem to have so many options but the fact that each token costs $5 is a bit sketchy. i can understand if theyre trying to get as much as they can for the service theyre providing, but that service would need to be top notch.
have you tried looking online for different peoples success/failure with the site?
Abarazza, I had a similar problem where it would auto delete my e-mail address. I got round it by sending a photo of my e-mail and she got it. It might be a problem if she only writes through an interpreter but if she writes direct and you can receive photos from her maybe this might be an idea for you to try. When i eventualy got my girls address i got it checked out and it came back as false the reason for it was that the girls date of birth was wrong, by all knowlege when doing an address check in Ukraine date of birth is critical for getting the address. Howether it comes out that many scam sites are aware of this and deliberately put the wrong date of birth in as it later came out that my girls address was correct and her date of birth was wrong. I took the plunge and did what Olga suggested and sent some flowers with a ppicture to confirm delivery and yes it was her.
Elenamodels is honest, uses anti-scam filters, personal interviews and you can get girls contacts......the #1 site in rankings (did baron write this incognito?)
Jeewiz, you really surprised me, you caught me quite off-balance, and also, I never ever expected you to be such a know-it-all! In fact I fell off my chair, and luckily I could grab hold of my dog to keep my balance. Shame, poor thing, scared him silly.
Now, everybody knows you moderate here, this hardly will be news. Also, most posts here happen within a certain time-span hence the other hours spent at work must be less of a burden i.e you might get bored at times. This might well be news to those never having realized this.
But, you being computer-bound during work, it is inevitable that you 'surf' then, I mean, a girl must do something, not so? What WILL be news is WHERE you seem to surf for your entertainment ....
But OK, not that the cat is out of the bag anyway - let's have some links then please??
;-))))
