I presume because you end up spending a great deal of time there. I would like to find a city that is friendly toward Americans ... has a high level of English speakers... and is the home for millions of petite brunettes with blue or green eyes, all of whom are smart, witty, and have strong characters. One that is certainly waiting for me… I would appreciate recommendations. There is that one special person for each of us in this world but you're not so likely to find her, indeed you might select exactly the wrong type, by narrowing your search to one city. Friendly towards Americans? Think tourist, if you've got the cash and you spend it in the restaurants and bars etc, tip the waitresses, they're sure to be friendly towards you providing you behave yourself. beanstobe Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/2/2006 1:02:04 PM   easyworks, you are right about the city especially in winter. If you dont like the city then you wont feel in the mood to go out - especially in winter and if you come from a temperate, or worse, from a hot climate at the time, then you will find your mood is also affected by the temp difference and you will need to sleep a lot. Medical fact is that with common temp down to -40 and winter coming in 2 months you will also find that your body moves slower. But if you want to go to countries friendly towards USA in general then my advice is go North, the baltic states, where light is only 3 hours a day, but where you get plenty of students who have travelled around (since it is part of EU now) and who are apparently all very beautiful (I have never been).
