I'm new to this forum, but already I can see that there is good information here. I'm contiplating a first trip to the FSU, in all likeliness Ukraine. Is Kiev the best place to start or have the women there become spoiled/demanding due to excessive contact with Western/rich men? Is Kharkiv a better first option? I have been looking at the profiles on another site and notice that almost every other women from Kiev stipulates an income level that they want to see from the man. It's almost as bad from the women in Odessa. I was hoping to get away from this business of having to produce a bank statement just to start a conversation with a woman. On the profiles of the women from Kharkiv, however, this was rare. And limited to the 18-25 year old profiles. What, if any, conclusions should I draw from this? In general, speak about the plusses and minuses of a Kharkiv first trip as opposed to Kiev, please. If you are serious about girls, search for the age 25-32. Younger girls are not serious... But there are also many more Western men visiting there to compete with, and the women's expectations are higher. The smaller the city, the less English, and the less there is to do, but the more receptive the women. Its a big turn off and the attitude of the interpreter becomes an important factor in the development of the relationship. Ive only done it once and by end of the evening wanted to throttle the interpreter.
