Obviously Romanian ladies are not curious or looking for the greatest choice :)
I've been to Romania 4 times this year, whilst their salaries may be low, the hotel receptionist yesterday told me she earns EUR150 per month, but they have a pretty comfortable life and salaries need to rise once Romania joins the EU to prevent these people from leaving Romania once they have the rights to live & work in the rest of the EU.
But what are the chances, if ever, of counties such as Russia, Ukraine, Moldova etc. being accepted into the EU to give these people such rights? I had such a discussion with my UA wife perhaps a year ago, I joked that if Ukraine were ever to join the EU then Ukraine would become a wasteland with no inhabitants, whilst laughing my wife told me that I was correct.
So the compulsion to leave the country is THE prime reason for these women to look for western men ... I see.
Sort of a turn off to me.
I still like the challenge. I am VERY attracted to the concept of two people assuming risks together ... that is the way to gain great rewards (togetherness and trust).
REGARDING SALARIES:
Following a conference in Bucharest on construction (FIDIC) that I attended this week:
Average Engineer in construction earns 1200 euros today - expected by everyone to rise to 3000 euros next summer.
Average unskilled labourer earns 250 euros a month
Salaries, in all sectors, in Romania have offically doubled in 10 months and are expected to do the same or more in next 12 months.
First 161 immigrants from China arrived to come and replace the Romanian Moldavian workers in textile industry who have decided to prolong their long holiday in Southern Italy and stay to work.
Skills are short in Construction and our project testimonies to that fact.
Romanian salaries are to many in Romania becoming excessively high. This would disrupt their entry into EU according to many bussiness men I talked with.
The problem is that Romanian workers are lazier than their Hunagarian/Cheque/Polish counterparts!
So why should foreign firms invest here when their productivity today is less than those countries above if their salaries were the same!
Many foreigners believe that most Romanians will leave the country in a false belief that their country is useless resulting in an influx of foreigners from other EU countries that will come and work, more efficiently, to replace their work, buy their property up so that when Romanians come back from working in London etc, they will find nothing for them here!
easyworks,
What do you expect, an FSU lady, indeed a Romanian lady, to seek a relationship and subsequent marriage with a guy from a faraway country because she doesn't want to leave her country?
