I too have received a few contacts via Yahoo. I decided to keep writing one of the Russian woman to see where it lead. We have been corresponding for a month or better. She does not ask for money or anything like that. She speaks of searching for her true love in life and has recently told me that she loves me. Our letters have been based upon getting to know each other and sharing information of that nature. She too sends a picture with every e-mail. I asked her what she thought about me coming to Russia and visiting her and she thinks it would be great. She gave me her address to send a hand written letter however she declined my idea to send her a package due to the delivery to her taking so long. She said a letter alone could take 40 days and a package 3 months. She has a Yahoo e-mail address, has said she learned English as a foreign language when going to school to become an accountant. She appears to be on the up and up and writes about life and hopes and dreams and not requesting money or anything at all. I figure if she was genuine enough to decline a package that would not contain anything valuable anyhow out of respect of me losing something that I may send her that perhaps she is an honest sincere Russian lady looking for what she says she is looking for, Love. Member Ryan. You said you had a picture of a woman that you provided to someone who experienced the same thing as you and that I am experiencing now. If you have the photo would it be possible to see it? I wonder if it's the same woman. I guess I'll ride it out and see what happens between her and I. This Russian woman came to me and we have been writing since. It seems as though many of you have experience with this sort of thing. Any advice or any clues to look for would be appreciated. Obviously any requests for money or any personal information would be a tip off to a scam. Since she found me on Yahoo personals I believe she must be linked somehow to a web site offering single men. In Yahoo personals you can select if your profile is viewable by Yahoo personals and third party sites, just Yahoo personals, or not searchable at all. Again, I am hoping for some sort of offering of advice from you guys who are more experienced at this sort of thing than I am. I am not naive enough or a young dumb guy to fall for the old "send me money" gig, however I do not know exactly what to think about this woman.
