My girl is lives in Mariupol, Ukraine. I have been corresponding with her for 5 months. I have finally decided to meet here. Can some tell me how to get a travel visa to Ukraine.
Do you know any good agents in Sydney who can get me a travel visa to Ukraine?
Mate most can do this, they just get a courier to pick up then send to a company that specialises in getting visas. Dont leave it too late as the cheap option takes a week to process then another few days with couriers. I believe there is a consulate in Sydney but dont know whether it does visas.
IT DOES DO GEMINI in sydney yes i think maybe in melbourne to but there is a specialist
called travel express look it up Belmont forum shopping centre in perth its not a travel agents but all they do is visas for russia ukraine they are pros.
mike00
you are clearly aware of the HUGE battle you have ahead of you yes???? Aussie immigration is the strictest on the planet... You will have to minimum travel 2 times to meet her and spend months with her. Id suggest you do some research or it will all be a waste of time
finally be careful when getting advice here from people like Mike...
Vanechka, Are you Australian? Just wondering where you are getting your information from? I know its difficult to get a lady into Australia but wouldn't say it's a waste of time.

in il come vanachecka tell us all he dont aproove that we beat the system again .
hmm
Look you can't beat the system, but follow its rules precisely.
You can't sponsor a fiance to Australia in the following cases:
1. Income requirements: you must have had a minimum income before tax of $35,000 per annum for the last 2 years and prove with Australian Taxation Return records to qualify as a sponsor under the family visa category (prospective spouse sub-class 300 visa as officially called or "Fiance Visa")
2. In the past 2 years, you must have suffered no periods of unemployment or sickness where you have collected Australian Social Security (Centrelink) benefits or that will disqualify you.
3. Not be a liable parent for child support, if you have under age kids ( under 18 years) from a previous marriage or that will go against you.
4. You must prove the "existence of a genuine relationship with intent to marry". There are no specific guidelines as to what is a sufficient amount of proof and that decision lies with the immigration case officer in our embassy in Moscow, who makes the decision.
Proof is defined as having copies of letters to each other over time, proof of phone calls to her with copies of phone bill records, proof of travel ( air ticket copies, accomodation receipts etc. to a personal visit to her country for a meeting), photos of you and her together and with family and friends over there ( the more the merrier), sworn statements from her friends, relatives about the nature of your relationship with her, "a notice of intent to marry form under Australian law with a wedding date booked and signed by you, her and an Australian marriage celebrant/priest who will perform the wedding.
The more proof you ahve the better..they will look at it.
5. Its a good idea to have known each other about 6 months and gone over to her country and stayed with her for at least a month or longer..they will never buy that a relationship was formed with a 1 week visit...take your long service leave and go for 2 months if you can and leave 1 month for when she comes out.
5. Standard of processing time for an Australian fiance visa is 5 to 7 months at best case.
6. She must pass police checks ( police clearance certificate form her country ) and health checks (Immi will send her to approved Doctors and clinics for x-rays and blood tests in her or a neighbouring country..they are mainly looking for AIDS and TB or past evidence off.
7. Seek advice of an Australian government approved migration lawyer and get them to do the paperwork and handle all the red tape..its not advised to do the papers yourself and then you have legal representation in case the application fails and you file for an appeal.
8. Appeals are costly..$2500 plus lawyer costs and take 6 months to be heard or longer with MRT(migration review tribunal)..to avoid an appeal or minimise its chances of happenning get an Government approved immigration lawyer to handle all the immigration paperwork.Appeals have been known to happen based on the smallest errors or ommissions in the immigration application paperwork.
9. The visa application will cost about $1500 aud plus her country costs for police certificate etc. and include medical checks but some services may charge more in her country for this.
10. Have about $500 us cash available to grease the palms of Government officials to get her side of the paperwork moving in her country..corruption is rife, especially in the Ukraine and it may be necessary to pay bribes to avoid long delays or waits on paperwork.
It can be done but you must follow the rules to the letter and use an immigration lawyer..Australian government has a list of approved migration lawyers of which you should use to avoid hassles!
Do your background check on your lady before embarking on this. Ask her questions about her health and if shes been charged with any criminal offence. YOU NEED TO KNOW.
If shes been arrested/charged with a crime such as fraud, theft, prostitution, drug use, drug trafficking or crime of violence, it will show up in her police clearance report and she will never get any Australian visa..she needs to be criminally "sqeauky clean".
They don't care about things like road traffic offences or minor misdemeanors but the more serious indictable crimes.
Ask about her health. If shes suffered from any cancer or disease or has a medical condition requiring on-going treatement.
They will not let her in, if they feel "she has a medical condition, that would be a significant cost or burden on the Australian health care system"
If she is HIV positive, forget it. If she has had TB or past evidence of ( it will show up as TB scarring on her lungs in a chest x-ray)..forget it.
The character checks ( police clearance ) and health checks are most important and strict and she must pass these.
Oh, if shes been married before and divorced, she must have all the court sealed divorce papers from her country and if are in the same boat, you must have yours as well.
Hi Mate
Talk to me
Was in Lugansk in August
Will let you know pitfalls problems
Officer at Ukrainian Embassy is good if you cooperate and do right thing!
Theres an Ukraine embassy in Australia in Canberra and it has a website.
It tells you "you need a letter of invitation from an accomodation provider showing confirmed hotel bookings or letter from a private individual if you want to do a home stay visit." before they will issue a tourist visa for an Australian to Ukraine.
A tour operator or hotel in Ukraine can arrange this letter which must be submitted with a visitor visa application for Ukraine which takes about 10 days to get.
Theres an application form you can download from there site which you send by registered post with your passport, other documents and a money order/bank cheque for visa fee and you must include a return self addressed pre-paid express post satchel for them to return your passport.
You are better to book accomodation in Ukraine and get a letter from a hotel or tour operator as the "letter of invitation"
For a girl over there to organise a "letter of invitation" for a home stay visit ( stay with her ) is a lot of bureacratic hassle for her as she has to go to Ukraine Ministry of Internal Affairs to arrange it through officials and it can take months to get it so its not advised to go this way and to get a letter from a proper hotel or tour provider confirming bookings as its simple and quick.
Can anyone tell me about Krivoy Rog, Ukraine..theres a lady there I write to and have telephoned and I am interested in her.
I think she is the real deal and I am not such a hard case about FSU women anymore..there are some real ones amongst all the scammers..you gotta be just lucky to find a real one.
What can I expect if I travel to Krivoy Rog..I am worreid if I do that and she does not like me in person and dumps me and I am left all by myself in a strange country..in a strange town and not speaking the language, I will be left in "deep sh*t"
I don't have high expectations about marriage..life is about taking risks and there are no gauarantees of success in this but still, being on your own if your dumped, not speaking the language would be a very stressful and undesireable experience..I am just thinking of the worst that can happen and be prepared for the worst scenario.
Phone Gateway travel in sydndey . They know how tyo get the flights and they take all the shit out of the Visa for Ukraine. It was $35 I think for them to fix it up plus the visa costs. Or Iris tours. Look it up in the phone book. Iris does not do flights but they are better for a russian Visa, but gateway is fine for Ukraine as they are easier. You can do it cheaper yourself, but this really is easy and reliable. I have used both these agencies in Sydney. Email me if you want the women I talk to as she is great. otherwise you may get some girl who seems not interested. I had that problem but phoned back and asked for the girl I normally use and she fixed me up no worries.

Ill tell you only cities to go in Ukraine in order
Kiev
Lugansk
Odessa
Berdanysk
Donetsk
Kharkov
Ukraine wasnt too bad but there is chance of danger
but I keep being told it is safe
Forget cities between Kiev to Lugansk
Lot of former KGB troublemakers still there
Poltava Kremenchug not nice places!
Only travel in warm times
Was in Kiev lugansk Aug 06
There are plenty more places to go in Ukraine than a mere 6 cities, Crimea doesn't even get a mention from the above nor does Dnepropetrovsk, Lviv, Nikolaev etc. etc. etc, talk about naive :)
I have heard that immigration officials at customs at the airport in Dnepropetrovsk are as* h*les when it comes to treatment of foreigners who fly direct into there from other countries. They will pull all foreigner aside, search there luggage and person and consfiscate any gifts, especially jewellery and expensive items that you bring as a gift for a lady you intend to meet and they use the excuse "prohibited import" when it comes to confiscating things and in reality they are not prohibited and just pocketed by the corrupt officials for themselves.
I was advised not to use Dnepropetrovsk or any Eastern Ukraine city as the entry port into Ukraine but to fly into Kiev and then use an internal domestic flight if I wanted to travel to other cities in the country.
The corruption is more worse in the Eastern parts of Ukraine that are more dominated by ehtnic Russians.
Any comments.
Ive never had a problem flying into either Kiev or Odessa.
The domestic terminal in Kiev is a very short walk. If you have to fly from Zhulhany its more of a hassle as its 40 min to 1 hr drive depending on traffic.
Its worth stopping over in Kiev.
If you are flying from Australia you can go either via Moscow or Dubai. Either is reasonably convenient. Only problem if you fly from Dubai is a 5.5 hr flight in very basic 737. No entertainment apart from Ukrainians passing around bottles of vodka and getting more vocal and drunk by the minute. Problem with Moscow is most carriers go to Domodedovo and there are only limited connections to Kiev. Of course you could catch Aerosvit from Bangkok. Cant imagine how mind numbingly boring that flight would be.
can anyone tell me the best way to get a Ukraine woman into Australia.
We have been dating for 1 year. I have been over to Ukraine, we travelled to Egypt on a holiday. Now she wants to come to Australia
We applied for a tourist visa but she was denied
what is our next step or is there another way to get her here for a holiday
Thanks Darren
We have just two days ago received my girls 2nd tourist visa for her to come here for a holiday.
She already came in February 2013 for 3 months.
We also have her fiance visa in with the Australian embassy in Moscow and she will receive that around February or March 2014.
So it is definitely doable and not so complicated.
I am not sure why she was denied a tourist visa... Can you clarify? And how did you apply?
My understanding is that she would be denied only if there are legal issues such as criminal record or other risks associated with her passport and previous denials perhaps from other countries.
Ukraine is now on the online visa application list. For my girl last time we got her visa from a company called www.get-visa.com.ua in Kiev.
They will tell you exactly what documents she needs to provide and they will do all the work.
This second time we got her visa by me doing the online application and providing the documents they require on the online visa portal.
IF you let me know some more details perhaps I can help
