There were quite a few who posted that they were going to travel to Ukraine and Russia this October. I was just curious if any of those have returned, and what they stories they have to tell of their travels and the ladies they met, if any.
JoBlo,
I may have been one of the ones you are referring to as I mentioned on a couple of threads that I was heading there, and everything was booked up, but due to a close bereavement, I called it off.
Will be replanning to go in a short while, but nothing set in stone yet.

There is always danger that if you go Russia or Ukraine that something could suddenly
go wrong and I saw and had a few scary things happen while I was in Ukraine but generally
people go about their way youd have as much chance of danger there on an average day as you would anywhere else!
Ladies and interpreters are nice but sometimes I wonder what is in their heads but I realize
they come from former communist country you just have to get advice if youre interested in lady the coordinator on site or other English speaking people in Ukraine Russia will help
you especially Olga in Moscow who I talk to and Tanya and Marina here in Sydney who teach Russian and are FSU residents!
Good Luck!
I am going to Mariupol next week. Flying from Kiev. I read in one of the threads about a service (Ukraine flights)that arranges travel and meets you at the airport with tickets. I contacted them and they seem to be reliable so far. The flights from Kiev (KBP) have been cancelled, and I have to leave from another airport, but the agency is handling the tickets and the car transfer for me (there is an extra cost, but things happen). The plus side is that my lady is going to meet me in Kiev and we will return to her city together. She immediately said she will meet me in Kiev when I told her of the difficulty with the original travel plans. Thanks to all for the travel information. I will be submitting the K-1 Visa paperwork soon after returning to the states. Thanks again, and good luck to everyone.
what were these scary things that you saw happen in the ukraine. It would be helpful to tell everyone so that they can take care when they are there. Thanks

Syyblue38,
You claimed to have seen a few scary things which boredfukka asked of you what they were. You subsequently reply, to the effect, of being scared of the condition of the roads, open sewers, street prostitution and a claimed lack of transport to the airport, you're very easily scared skyblue38.
You also claim to have seen aids that is not visible thus I beg to ask, how did you see it then if it was not visible?

Just returned from Ukraine.
Found out that the Ukrainefare travel agency is best to be avoided. Arrived in Kiev, met my lady, she told me the travel agent called her and said there was a problem with the airline tickets (2nd problem). I called agent and found out we did not have confirmed seats to mariupol.(they said the airline made a mistake, and was over-booked. I called airline and found out there were seats available.) The agent offered to arrange car transportation for the same price. After an 11 hour ride in a small cramped vehicle, we arrived in Mariupol. This agency should be avoided- ticket prices were double what was the actual cost, problem after problem, and generally felt cheated by this travel agency.
If you get to kiev and want to go to Mariupol, take a taxi to train station.... Avoid Ukraine fare travel agency.
On the positive side, my lady and I got along wonderfully and all is well.
Thank you Fiancee.com... :))
