The more you bring to the table, the higher quality woman you'll attract. For whatever reason, they will in general have lower standards than a corresponding American woman, because they have decided to steer clear of the available FSU men. My opinion is the economic disparity between the countries, and general quality of life. As a westerner, you and your friend both bring that to the table. However, if your friend is a total loser, or complete wallflower, he's not going to do any better in the FSU than in the States. Having said that, bring him along and you'll have company while waiting for these FSU women, who often postpone dates, or fail to show up when expected. They're living their busy lives, and sometimes they break dates. In which case, you and your friend can go work the bars or explore the city or whatever.
