Latvia has phones and cell phones. I have been there myself twice coz I am half Latvian so I know they have "normal" mobiles and the sms does work to the UK and back. So.....??? I am puzzled why she would say use the site. Why does she care if I use the sit to call her or call her directly? People dont realise it. it is about 200miles or so from Alaska to the russian peninsula and then maybe 600-1000km to vladivostok. So, all you USA guys need to do is get on alaskan airlines and fly there in 2 hours. You can walk in winter across the ice too if you like, but dont forget to get your visa first. Unless you hit it off very well from the beginning(which is tough these days)you're not going to get that number for at least a few meets. I have done a lot of thinking on this whole on-line dating/marriage deal. I've come to the conclusion that probably a lot of us guys in the beginning were hypnotized by the eye candy and have since settled into reality mode... well I have anyway. But there are still ladies who I am "wary" of because they do not answer your question regarding the phone number, they ignore it. Now, if they take ages to answer or only answer once in a blue moon, then I am even more sceptical of them, but some don't want to give their phone for honest reasons. You just have to make an informed decision whether the lady is honest or not.
