Jetmba, you're lucky you didn't marry her. I was told that a federal employee forks over 50 percent of his pension to his ex-spouse as part of the divorce settlement.
Jet: Thanks for the story. I really was not asking to hear all your specifics but it does give me some insight. Live in a skyscraper, is that familiar. I think very few of these women understand the US suburbia set up. I guess I was more interested in your experience with Chisinau. From your experience, do the fish seem the same?
Do not board the Paris metro during rush hour, or you can get raped, knowingly or not, standing in the crowded space in trains.
After seeing Europe, I realized what Hitler was up to before exiliration of power drove him to further madness (it usually does) - he was initially simply trying to unite all the blond(e)s, typically found in Germany, Austria, Czech and western part of Poland. The rest of the Europe is brunett(e) - don't let bleached blondes in eastern Europe confuse you.
Think I'm going to pass on Tanya, because since she came around, there's been too much emphasis on money. I pretended to still be in Europe, and asked if she wanted me to return from Amsterdam to see her, but she didn't want to see me in Chisinau.
I can't give you a lot of helpful advice on that as I never really did any prospecting in Chisinau - in person anyway. As I mentioned - I first met her in Ukraine. So when I went to Chisinau I already had someone. I did intend to see another girl too - another girl who I had met at the Romance Social - who happened to be my lady's best friend (now THAT would have been a ticklish situation) but I was properly discouraged by the lady I would soon become engaged too. She was with me 24/7 - even on the first trip. She moved into the hotel with me and stayed with me for the entire three weeks and I figured at the time that in the three weeks I was actually "on my own" (meaning not directly in the presence of my lady or in the very next room) a total of perhaps two hours. Now THAT, I am sure, is unusual - even for others here in this forum.
Dr.Koop:
Your last post has me confused. You mention that you are in Paris, but in then in the third paragraph you mention "I pretended to still be in Europe" when you asked Tanya if she would like you to return. ????? Did they move Paris?
No offense DrKoop but when there is a VAST age difference of thirty years or so (must admit I don't recall if you gave your exact age - but you mentioned that she is 18) - its going to be mostly about money.
I certainly would NEVER deny that successful relationships with an age differnce of 25 or 30 years are possible (my lady was 23 years younger than I was) and I have no idea how much of a stud you may be in person, what you look like or what your person-to-person personality is like - but if an 18 year old is professing affection on a first meeting to a much older guy, CHANCES ARE its all about money.
DrKoop,
I don't know if you realize that your posts about Europe, European women, European countries, European populations, and European history risk to sound offensive to ALL Europeans. For sure, your posts are ridiculous. It seems that you have been visiting a zoo. It's a pity, with a little more education you would have enjoyed your European tour in a much more intelligent way.
Damn, they didn't rape you in the Paris metro, did they?
He (DrKoop) sounds like a very educated man, who received all of his information about Europe through history books. Lauguage barriers prevent most Americans from a lot of direct interaction in most counties in Europe (Uk is a little easier of course) so we can only observe. But I admit it sounds like DrKoop expected to see post-war Europe. Western Europe isn't exactly rebuilding anymore. EASTERN Europe is, after years of Soviet neglect. But not Western Europe. Its all been rebuilt - and THEN some....
If DrKoop were a "very educated man", I would expect to read a few words about the Louvre Museum, rather than idiocies about the hair colours of the Europeans.
Is the Louvre like Mecca where all of the educated must make a pilgrimage? Hair color IS an ethnicly related trait. His report on the observance of it certainly doesn't disqualify him.
No Jetmba, I'm in Florida now. I told Tanya that I was still in Paris to make it sound like a piece of cake to swing by Chisinau again and revisit her. They are poor, getting by day to day, so who cares about the 30 year difference. I sure don't. She looks like a tiny doll.
About Louve, it is open until 9:30 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, so don't get shocked finding it closed at 5:30 pm. After Louve, I visited Moulin Rouge district of Paris, but at 300 Euros, it was a little too high for my taste. It was $200 a night in Chisinau for hotel service.
"The rest of the Europe is brunett(e)" is totally idiot. I should suppose that the Norwegians are brunett(e). I am Italian, not Norwegian, and I am not dark-haired.
DrKoop's text:"They are poor, getting by day to day, so who cares about the 30 year difference. I sure don't. She looks like a tiny doll."
No wonder that you have troubles finding a girl overthere... with this kind of attitude I wish you good luck and you'll be on this forum for the next 5 years complaining. I've never read something so ignorant. Do you really think that these girls don't care and will jump on the first western man who approches them, just to escape poverty ? My man, you're lost in your own stupidity... When you're 50, you should be looking at 35-40y old women, not 18y old teens... do you really think she finds you or the prospect of living with you attractive ? My bet is, she rather stays in her "poverty"... FSU is not a women supermarket...there must be chemistry like with every other woman on this planet to start a relationship...
I'm not a long time member on this forum, came here to read and maybe find some info about travelling, but some people here are so full of it just because they can't find a 20 something girl to fill in their 50 something life. Oh, and they expect them to fall deeply in love at the first visit...why not, I bought her some stuff... and for the record, it took me 4 months, 4 1 week visits, a weekend in Kiev and calls + sms messages EVERY (thank you skype) day for the last 3 months to fall in love and her to fall in love...and yes, in these 4 months I bought her a new cell phone...and we are still not sure how this will end, just like we would not be sure when she would be living next door... I guess it's time to wake up for you and some other people on this forum...
Agan as mother of soon 19 years old, I dont understand how people want to communicate to immature moody teenagers! I understand that Moldova is poor and so on...but, maybe older guys who date young girls are immature themselves. This DrKoop Europe analyze was the strangest I ever read!
You can find blond(e)s in Transalvania in Romania, but they'll tell you that they are of German descent.
Louvre is a Mecca for the art-lovers. That's all. Louvre doesn't even have "The Last Supper", which is in Rome. There's a closed to the public gallery there. I peaked thru and saw a museum employee carving statues. Now, I wonder how many are real!!!
You can find blond(e)s in Transalvania in Romania, but they'll tell you that they are of German descent. At least, that's what the blondes in McDonald at Bucharest train station told me.

thomasm3,
great post. I would have replied to the last of DrKoop's posts, but sometimes you get tired at replying to idiotic - or worse - posts. I was astonished at reading what attitude this guy has towards the women of eastern Europe. Astonished and disgusted. As from other posts of the same individual, he has the idiotic idea of buying a woman in eastern Europe. "you'll be on this forum for the next 5 years complaining." Very optimistic prediction. He will NEVER find a woman over there.
Annika,
I totally agree with you. I don't know what Europe DrKoop has seen. I think he arrived to Europe with a lot of false or inaccurate representations in his mind, and could not change them even visiting so many places, and seeing so many people.
DrKoop,
"The Last Supper" is in Milan. Here is another one of the "very educated men" who just don't know what they are talking about. DrKoop, your best posts are just pathetic.
