I was just interested in finding out what some of you had to think.
For the guys who have done any of these I would like to know your take.
Would you 1: Sign up for the V.I.P. membership
2: Put your ads out in newspapers
3: Go do one of those socials that they have to offer that has a couple hundred girls
I dont have a problem spending the money, just wanted to find out before I dive in. I was on another site for a while writing to a couple girls, then just one day they stoped. Of course on that website u had to pay between 4 and 8 dollars per letter, per girl depending on how many u buy at one time. Probably just got taken which dosent really bother me, but I wanted to see if this site would be the same as the last, or if I might be able to actually meet some girls with it?
1) Yes, certainly, no doubt. You will have no limit whatsoever in your correspondences with girls. Savings with premium membership are just an illusion, as you can understand very easily. You will definitely be able to meet some girls with fiance.com, provided your profile is attractive enough, and you can write something sensible to girls.
2) I never did it. I think it's not for me.
3) I never tried, but many guys of this forum are passionate advocates of socials.
jcobo,
Every individual makes his own choices and it is very much 'trial and error'.
You could spend a relatively minimal amount on VIP membership and if it works for you then you have succeeeded for very little outlay.
Ads in newspapers might only attract those that do not have internet access and write via snail mail. I wrote snail mails some 9 years ago and with an exchange of a single letter taking some 6 weeks I found it almost impossible.
1. Yes, I am VIP member and satisfied.
However, I have experienced some technical problems lately
where I donīt get an email telling me that I have received a letter.
Hopefully the Agencu will find out what is wrong.
2. No. Would only attract snail-mailers.
3. Why not ?
One problem with the "service" from the Agency is that all letters
are translated.
I suddenly realised this one night when I as writing a letter
that perhaps this girl could only say 10 words or so in English if I meet her.
And me, not having English as native language would make it even more difficult.
So, the Socials would be a good idea as you can see for yourself if
you can communicate.
A telephone call is the best way to determine her english skills. Fiance has a number associated with how much english the girl knows. I usually stay away from 5 and below. Because I know that we will probably need a translator. The first girl I got serious with was a 2 and I had to pay a translator just to talk to her. That go expensive real fast. Plus you cannot get too personal with a translator in the middle of a conversation.
The other thing I have found out is that some women rate themselves low but in actuality it is a nice surprise that we can communicate rather well. Lastly, try to learn some Russian. I have sprinkled some of the Russian words I know when I talk to them and they seemed surprised that an American would take the time to learn their language a little. It makes for a nice impression on them.
Language skills ARE important. You canīt just live on the fact that you have a pretty wife.
I had an Australian girlfriend for some years and even if I speak
pretty good English it is a problem when you talk about "deeper" matters
if you cannot express yourself or understand.
I can just imagine how difficult it would be with a woman who cannot
speak without translator. Maybe it takes 3-5 years before you can communicate
fairly well.
Cycles correct, the scale system here can be flawed. My wife was a 2 but after we talked on the phone, we knew we could communicate without a translator. Actually it was a lot of fun.
Phone call not only for english is imperative, but for other reasons.
