I am going to Simferopol, this girl says she will arrange everything. Am I right, this is a red flag. Another thing is her letters are fairly short and she doesn't send many pictures. I cannot get many details of her life. Am I parinoid or am my fears correct? She has a friend who is a translator. Hmm, If it smells like fish it is usually fish. What does everyone think???? Total red flags Fabio. Don't book any flight just yet. Do some more homework. She knows if she gets you to Simferopol it is the middle of nowhere and you will be under her power. That is why she wants you to let her arrange everything.

Deano, I agree about red flags but Simferopol is the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and its population is about 350k people. Hard to define as "the middle of nowhere"... Anyway, this is one more reason not to have everything arranged by the girl!

Fabio, Unless you send her any money what has she to gain? She could be 100% serious, go along with it for now, enquire of her regarding apartment prices, then check her prices against those on the internet, but what else has she to arrange, only to meet you at Simferopol airport. But, apartments do not need to be paid for in advance thus there will be no need for you to send any money.

Thanks guys, I am not going to send any money but I have heard of the girls getting kickbacks for getting men there. Then they jack up the price of everything. Her friend the translator, I don't know if she wants to charge me. I cannot get his girl to answer my questios she avoids them. This is a typical letter Hello my dear Bruce! does not sound sincere to me but it is up to you to do some more digging first. YOu know, why does she only talk about the city and helping you when she should be talking more about what she is looking for, the kind of person she wants to meet etc. But then a lot of people off here seem to vanish when you want to meet them or something. which is why I am starting to think this site is a joke. Prove me wrong but only about 10% seem genuine.

Fabio, you sound as if you already knew the answers, so why do you ask? When a girl, or maybe Vladimir, systematically avoids answering questions, then there is definitely something veeery suspicious in the whole business, do you agree? Does she make any reference to the contents of your letters in her replies? It is not clear from your posts.

BF, I have no reason not to believe to your personal bad statistics. It seems that this kind of records can vary really a lot from one guy to another, and this can lead to completely different frames of mind. I have nothing to brag about, I have not found my soul mate yet and my experience in the real "battlefield" is still very limited. That said, I am having a hard time because some 10 girls or so want to meet me - they ask me to go and meet them - and I don't know what I can do not to disappoint any one of them and, above all, not to miss any of these chances.

Thank again guys! I have not booked any place to stay or flights yet. I do have about 4 girls I want to meet in the Ukraine. There is another in Simferopol. You are right I guess it is a retorical question and I should know the answer. Sometimes you need someone to remind you of your first impression. I will give this one the pink slip unless some questions get answered soon. Thank you again!
