Picturing herself with a revolver under her chin? Wow. That's sexy. (Not.) Another big turn-on is what she looks for in a man. "cheerful, loving, understanding, up-to- date views on life, loving animals and nature, sociable, sporty, active, reliable, generous, wealthy." Keywords are the last two I am sure.

Seriously, most foreign guys are apprehensive enough. I can only wonder who is going to want to visit a girl in Ukraine, who may or may not - actually have been using a photgraphers prop, or who perhaps has her own genuine revolver as a special surprise for you when you meet.

I don't know what scares me the most the picture of her with a gun under her chin or her saying she wants to be with a generous wealthy man. Both make me want to run in the other direction.

That word! "Generous"! I have talked with a couple girls about that word in their profile. They usually intend to use the word 'giving.' When in Ukraine I've explained that if you say 'generous' it means money, unless you modify it: 'generous with his time' 'generous with his attention'-- but I met resistance to this explanation! They really felt that the word 'generous' doesn't have a financial connotation. The equivalent in Russian must not have the same connection to money. With a better translator, it could have come across as: "giving, and financially stable" "giving, and financially responsible" I might blame the translator. Ok, but the pistol...? I got nothin on that.

Then again, maybe the translator did a PERFECT job, and she meant �generous, wealthy.� :D

Jonny .... Your comment leads to another thread I started on "lost in translation" .... you couldn't spell out the actual Russian spelling of the word they're using for "giving" or "generous" can you ? I'm interested in the literal translation.

There was one particular picture of me that my former fiance really liked. She finally explained to me that in it I looked tough - and small camera case attached to my belt, looked like a gun holster. Yeah........ too bad it held a 35mm and not a Colt 45 I guess.
