I am getting ready to hire Holmes & Lolly , to help my brother obtain a K-3 visa for his spouse whom lives in Romania . They recently got married there last year . They want $2800 , to het her a K-3 , and her 2 children K-4 visas . I dont know any other reputable immigration firm at this price . What should I do ? I have to decide this week . Thank you . ELena

If your brother filed an I-130 for his Romanian wife and 2 children, compounding it with K-3/4 shouldn't be any tougher. Has anyone else noticed that Romanians girls are more willing to live in the US than any other east European girls?

Elena, I am no expert here and did not stay at Holiday Inn Express last night but I did dig up an old thread from 2005 in which several of the regular forum members recommended an Atty named John Roth. His e-mail address is www.arctec.com. Other members who praise his work are GLTALLTOAD and Jetson. They mention prices considerably less than what you have stated but I think that was just for the K1. In any case he seems to have his ducks in a row and might be worth checking out.

Forget about Roth, I had a former friend on this forum find him an absolute disaster. Email legalgroupatty@aol.com in the subject line ask for information for a K3 His name is Gary Stanley and he's the most reasonable and accurate in detail of all. He used to do k1's for 365 dollars. It would be worth looking into.

I was in Romania 3 times, and didn't find the girls nearly as interested in going to America! Just my personal experience. Part of that might be because they can travel to Europe without as stringent visa restrictions. A girl from Romania can easily (from a visa perspective) go to Paris or Berlin or London. But, a girl from Ukraine, even with the money for a trip, just can't get the visa. So, the girls in Romania have more choices. It is easy to go to France or wherever, and I personally felt that they were not as interested in America as the girls that are(unfortunately) visa-locked into Ukraine.

Hmm-- though this relaxed visa restrction is new, as Romania was being welcomed into the EU. So, it might be much, much different than in 2002. In my search for a wonderful wife, I don't come across nearly as many Romanian girls looking for husbands abroad (compared to Ukraine.)

Stay away from Holmes and Lolly. Their address is a Mailboxes Etc. They dont even have an office. They dont respond at all.

Hey Beachbaby, nice to see a fellow 949er on here! I talked to Lolly personally on the phone last month and he was super helpful, as I had a few questions about the K3 visa myself. His price didnt seem that unreasonable to me, but then again he's the only atty Ive talked to. Plus their office is in San Diego, so it makes it convenient for you to go down there and make sure they're getting things done for your brother if need be.
