say nyet a lot and 100 grivna which is about $20. better still get one of the many apartment rental firms to pick you up and they will be waiting with sign at customs exit and will cost $25 as martin suggests.
Its very cheap, regular times (20 minutes or so) and very quiet and peaceful with plenty of leg room to stretch, stops 3 or 4 times in Kiev town (which is not quite as big as it may seem), and arrives at the station.
Otherwise u will get ripped up off in a crampy lada taxi with no seat belt and being forced to stare bleary eyed at the road in front of you while your stupid driver speaks endlessly to you and doesn't understand that u are - lets say "jet lagged". Nothing worse than that even if the taxi were free!
Or you can prebook, perhaps via an apartment company, ukrainefare.com, or whatever and for $25 sit in a nice air conditioned Mercedes, or similar, with a driver who will at least has a knowledge of English.
Alexander,
I have no affiliation with ukrainefare.com whatsoever nor am I receiving any financial incentive to mention their identity.
I have mentioned their identity on numerous occasions previously because, cost effectively, there are only 2 easy sources for booking Ukraine internal flights online, one being Aerosvit (there you go, I'm advertising again) and the other being ukrainefare, if anybody knows of other cost effective sources then I would be delighted to learn of them.
Now this would be a very sad forum, indeed world, if we impartially couldn't recommend to other guys sources of travel, accommodation, places to go (I recently advertised TGI Fridays in Kiev) etc. etc. etc.
But were I to blatantly advertise my own business, as you so frequently advertise your own business, then I would definately be 'out of order' and expect the moderators to edit or delete my post(s).
Alex, you say you have been so busy, your business is booming, and you're paying for 'pay per click' on Google etc. Then why can you not afford to pay for advertising? I'm sure if you approached someone like fiance.com they'd offer you a banner advertisement for a very reasonable price.
Are you still mad at me Alex for bringing your blatant advertising to the attention of the moderators?
P.S. Guys, go to Google, find Alexander's business link and click on it as often as you like, he pays per click but it is probably set to a maximum number of clicks per day, but there's always tomorrow, and the next day ..... :)
