Monada is perhaps from Ukraine..? =) You should learn english first before you write anything... Maby your spoiling husband is paying your classes..? =) Couple of my russian friends (and one ukrainian too) are saying that most of russian (and especially ukrainian) women are wanting comfort life (MONEY) and high status. I just laugh that in some Bride-site they say that western women are materialistic... Well, how about most of the women in ex-CCCP..?? =D
I know that this thread is old, but boy, how much I wish I could have been here then ... but I was too busy finding a real woman, and not a gold digger like "esa Monada."
Unfortunately many women in FSU countries have this feeling of entitlement, and there are men who fall prey to them easily. She showed the true colors of many women in FSU countries. Fortunately for us, not all FSU women are like that. Otherwise, why search all the way there when we can find similar materialistic biatches in our own countries.
However, most men starting their search should read these pages as a wake up call, because everybody should be prepared to meet a few women like this. I did once, and I sent her packing as fast as I understood that she wanted me to be her slave.
Monada's comments (she is very famous here, probably what she wanted) should serve as a big warning sign to all men looking for a good woman in FSU countries. Be careful out there!
P.S.: The funniest part of her writings is that she thought that she deserved everything she wanted because she was such a "wonderful woman for her man." I wonder if they lasted more than a year together or if she already kicked him to the curb and changed him for somebody who can give her better gifts ;-)
I do not know if Monada is perfectly suited to her man. Where did I say so? Why don't you learn how to read before going around on your high horse as a moral judge?
Where did I say that all fsu women are a story book perfect? In fact, I said the opposite!
If you do not know how to read English, do not come here to insult people with baseless arguments.
Monada may be a really nice lady. I did not question that. I only highlighted one thing she qualified herself to be: a materialistic biatch. If that hurt your perfect moral ethics, I could care less.
And before I go, I am absolutely sure that I am not perfect myself, but I am also sure that I do not want a materialistic biatch as part of my life. If that is what you want for yourself, then congratulations, you will be able to find a Monada-type woman anywhere. But my warning is for men who want something different: a lady who values family above all, which is my own priority.
Have you ever heard this proverb:
"A thief thinks everyone steals."
Think of it next time you decide to use insults to try to disqualify somebody else's opinion. If you do not get my drift, that says it all.
And feel free to write as many insults as you want next because I am not responding to your ranting anymore.
"i guess i have learned from this experience. i will not return to Ukraine to seek my wife."
One less competitor to worry about.
"I think there are some ladies there that are Not motivated by money there But they are very few and difficult to find."
Agreed
"Relationships based on money doesn't seem to be much of a relationship to me....
To me, giving someone daily necessities, in a third world country, and acting as your some great savior is a joke in itself. Wow, that's really impressive, you can buy things for much less money here, than back at home."
Did you know that money is the number one topic that causes friction in relationships? You can ignore the financial problem, but eventually it will make matters worse because it will not go away. There are many poor countries where people with large amounts of money are looked upon as saviors (such as the drug lords, oligarchs, etc.) because they spend some of that money with the poor. Yes, it may seem that you are coddling them, but the poor have little else to look forward to in their lives.
"There are more than our share of unethical hypocrites that post in this forum."
This was posted before I registered on this forum, so it obviously does NOT include me.
"Marrying money is every pretty young girl's dream in Ukraine. Wealth and corruption are all over Ukraine. It has become the sole identifier in a person's social importance there. I kid you not. "
This is the Cinderalla syndrome. Like I said everybody want to go up, not down. Struggling to live daily is a big drag (and also likely to result in a deprived lifestyle). Note that some people cannot get enough clean water to use. If I came across a wealthy single foreign lady, can I ask her for financial assistance?
