So anyone who has been there does this sound about right? I have nothing bad to say about her at all! She doesn't speak English, but we had a wonderful 2 weeks. I just wanted to share stories about Nikolaev and her friends. It was perhaps the best decision of my life, visiting with her! Her family was so good to me. The taxi drivers were a little insane though :) She's coming to visit me in Canada this summer, if the tourist visa works out. Fortunately she has family that works at the Canadian embassy in Kiev, maybe that will help. I gave her a right good seeing to. She loved it and so did i. we had 3 great weeks together. We agreed to meet again in June. She is coming over to meet me in u.k in July.She does not need a visa. I have heard of it many times but never found it to be real. Even when I was in Volgograd a woman told me there was ten times the number of women there than men. A quick glance out the window and it obviously wasnt true. Sure there were attractive women walking around but also many men. Many young couples walking in the park and along the water front. It’s so pity for me to read this rubbish about Nikolaev and women, which live there.. I’m an Ukrainian girl and I was born in Nikolaev but already live for 4 years in Germany (immigrant). We have definitely more women than men, but of course not 8:1.. How somebody could believe in that! Most of the girls from my city very nice and intelligent, like in any other Ukrainian city.. I would say like any where in the world, you guys just try to open your eyes and you hearts, I don’t ask you to be stupid, just try to understand what women need and give it to her and you will get anything you want back.. Any way I’m sorry for those of you, who met dishonorable girls there, you can meet them any where in the world, just keep trying and will definitely meet the right one. I've been flattered this weekend by a young lady from Nikolaev whose is 36 years younger than me. I suggested politely that she had made an error of judgement, but she insisted she wanted to get to know me.
