I am particularly interested in a lady from Moldova. We have been writing for about 2 months. Anyway, usually I get letters every 4-5 days. She is in school and in the middle of exams, so I'm told. It had been about 9 days since her last letter, so I dropped her a quick 'hello' today. Within an HOUR, I got a reply back from her ... which I thought was rather sudden. UNLESS, someone at the agency wrote the letter for her. The content of the letter did relate to some topics we have been talking about. Now I'm kind of taking a step back. Does anyone know if it is common for the agencies to reply to letters, with or without the ladies knowledge? If so, other that making the plane flight there, which I plan on doing when my U.S. passport arrives, can the members here make some suggestions on how to find out if this lady is even real? I've seen an advertisement for a U.S. attorney living in Russia who will do background checks on Russian women for $150.00 ... but this lady is in Moldova. Sorry, I'm a newbie at this and appreciate your positive input. I'm much like most of you I assume, looking for a real, nice, loving woman to be my partner in life. Do not make your trip to see her if you never talked to her, do not know her real address. Insatiable, Tell me you have a backup plan, I would be sh*ting if you have flight booked already.....My feeling is you cannot trust someone to be real if you have not had direct contact. Even THAT is not guarantee, I went to see a girl after 10 months of letter writing and she never showed up, lucky for a backup plans. Moldova not big in amount of girls I've seen. This was just too wierd. I mean for her to reply to me THAT quickly, she would have to have been within 30 minutes of the agency, gotten a notice that my letter came, rushed to the agency, then sent me a letter. That's why I am feeling that this last letter wasn't from her, but written for her by someone else, maybe at the agency she is using in Moldova. I guess if I hadn't started to have some feeling for her, this wouldn't have bothered me. With all the horror stories out there, I am just taking a step back and rethinking this. She is a little older than most students at 27 but I paid $200 this semester for tuition so that she could finish her "Bacheloriate Degree". She had general exams two weeks ago and will have comprehesive exams this week. Some of the course work she took involved use of the computer lab. It has been the first time EVER that I have gotten instantaneous reponses from her from time to time lately - someimes in as little as a few minutes. She is merely sitting in the computer room and very able to immediately answer me. Maxirat Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 5/29/2007 10:04:52 PM   Sometimes the Agency would on-send the email to their work - and they would come back quicker than the usual 2-5 day turnaround - but if your letter is translated at an Agency 4her - then needs translating 4you - then it sounds a bit fishy !!!! I've got a couple of friends that were having problems with getting their girls phone numbers and addresses. They were advised to do as Olga mentioned...send flowers and get a photo of her receiving the flowers. They did this and had two shocked faces in the photos. The deal with both girls were they couldn't speak English and was scared to talk on the phone to the guys. The girls sent them emails and admitted why they were hesitant about giving out their phone numbers but they did give their phone numbers. The guys wrote and told them all they wanted to do was hear their voices even though they couldn't speak English. The guys made the calls and both told me that was the icing on the cake that put trust between them. They're both doing the K-1 on their girls now and both have been for more than one visit. I think I would still be a little concerned and let Olga take a shot at this for you. hillbilly jetmba. Does she communicate with you through the agency because she HAS to for translation purposes? Does she have private email (whether or not she is giving it to you)? The only info about emailing that I have is that she goes through the agency and because of that, there can be slight delays for her to reply. I have noticed that for someone so attractive, she is not getting a lot of letters sent to her. In fact, over the last week or so, I think I've seen her 'inbox' count go up from 23 to 28, and 3 of those are from me ... That might make me believe that she is not writing to a whole lot of guys back and forth ... maybe I'm wrong there. She is real, no doubt :-) Sometimes her replies are very quick. This is very suspicious, as she is supposed not to have a computer at home. A couple of weeks ago I wrote and her reply arrived some 20-30 minutes later!!! I asked 'her' for explanations about such a promptness, and received no explanation at all. The same old story... Correspondence through the agency filter leaves space to the not-so-scrupulous agencies for misconduct. I am so suspicious also due to the fact that I know that agency and don't like their manipulative conduct. Unfortunately, only few girls do not need translation...
