It screwed up a lot of things in my life, as I was forever unable to retrieve access. It had five years of perosnal and I have since then tried to rectify this... My mail from two years ago on anastasiaweb was copied and sent to people I know. I contacted Anastasiaweb about it, gave my IP address, personal address, mobile number (after which I even phoned them for them to check it is actually me) etc - to which they replied "we will check it up". I never got a reply!!! They failed to comment on false identity, with possible credit card fraud (which, luckily in my case never happened). Anyone ever had this situation? Is USA company Anastasiaweb so corrupt to defy anti fraud regulations? I suggest you to call Anastasia support. otherwise, it should not be a problem to change you login info for them:) or somebody in their support did not do his/her job. that is that simple beanstobe Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 6/29/2007 5:33:11 PM   Olga, No - I did call anastasiaweb at the time since I knew that I had to confirm my identity and best to do it all in one go: by tel call and by IP address and email. They did confirm that they would investigate but never followed it up. As you say...somebody did not follow up their job. I dint get my credit card stolen so I am go -m thank goodness. But I admit it is quite scary on how lax anastasiaweb are about fraudulent identity usage since it is criminal offence of a company to not enforce restriction when notified of such in most countries. I know who the individual is who stole my hotmail account, and thereby anasatsiaweb details and have prove of it. While I do not wish to press charges against the person, I am quite willing to press charges against a company who knowlingly and willing do not abide against enforcing anti-fraudlent behaviour.
