I leave for Ukraine next week. I will be there for about two weeks. I have been to Ukraine many times and have pretty much tried all the methods of meeting the girl of my dreams in Ukraine. I tried the letter writing then going to meet the one girl. I tried the letters and then going to meet several girls. I tried the social tours. I tried the pay per introduction meeting provided by the various agencies. I even tried the personal ad in the local paper. I had certain degrees of success with all of them but mostly failures. Ultimately the best method I found is what my Interpreter Natasha calls “Fishing”. I have met a few girls this way that I was hoping to take the future step of marriage with. Unfortunately they did not want to leave family, friends, and country. Two were ready to go further with me if I was willing to live in Ukraine. I wanted to share this method with all of you because I have seen the corruption of the marriage agency business grow so large that I feel it is almost impossible to meet a genuine girl by using them in any form. So, what is fishing and how is it done? Well, first you need a very good Interpreter. She must be a woman and she should not be just a business professional Interpreter. She must be personable and friendly. You will need this quality when you approach a girl. A good friendly Interpreter will relax the situation right away. Once you find your Interpreter you hit the streets. Walk the parks; hang out by the metro stations, the café’s. Then you wait for the girl of your dreams to pass you by. Then you have your Interpreter, not you! (But you will be by her side) chase the girl down. Stop her and politely ask if she can introduce you. I’ve caught as many as 15 fish in one day. My Interpreter charges $10 an hour for her service. A typical fishing session is about 4 hours. Even if I catch only 5 fish you can do the math. About $8 a meeting. And you get to see the girl before you spend the time effort. No unpleasant surprises unless you can’t stand her personality. So, for about $40 a day I can meet up to 15 girls that I picked out of the crowd and in the summer months you get to see the whole package. Two introduction dates are about $40 to $60 plus Interpreter fee. Socials are $300 for 300 girls but only 5 may come even a little close to what you see walk by on the street. And pay per letter before you go to meet. I don’t even want to go there. We all should know by know what that will cost. So, there is your alternative gentleman. Try it! It works! See ya later! I think this new method is hit and miss. I don't see how this is any better. Yes, you will not deal with the agencies but how will you communicate with the girls after you leave Ukraine? They will gravitate to an agency to translate their letters. Then you will be dealing with an agency again. Your method might be good for an interesting vacation but I don't see it working long term. Ready to do it for another 4 more! Even though I haven't captured that girl yet I still have a wonderful time each time I go there. So, in a sense I win even when I lose. Cyc, no problems at all. If I meet a girl who does not speak English then dont forget I have my Interpreter (Whom I trust fully) and who lives there assist in our communication if needed. To be honest I haven't needed much help. Almost every girl I fished was able to read and write English to some degree so we communicated by text messages (SMS)or emails. I still keep in touch with four of them now with no help from my terp or any agency. Not once did I or my girl have a need for assistance from an agency. I let you guys know how this next trip works out. I won't write while Im there but will write when I return home. Again, get away from the agencies as much as possible. Use them for apartment rentals, find an Interpreter (Then hire her privately) and maybe airport pick up. Thats it!
