What is the official e-mail address to fiance.com for my questions ?
I have to comment about Olgas comment that I was the only member who was complaining about information on rules and prices:
I think that people in Sweden are more "on alert" when it comes to doing business with Russia as Russia is not far away, and we read a lot about the problems in newspapers, and are advised to be careful when doing business.
Last week I read about the problem with illegal copies of software and music in Russia.
Even the big stores in Moscow are now selling copies of Microsoft products and copies of records.
Record companies sell very few records in Russia as 90-95% of all CDs sold are illegal copies.
Research by antipirate organisations show that Russia and Vietnam are "nr1" in the world when it comes to violating license agreements. This includes copying of music, software, and patented products.
Because of this, Russia has actually been denied membership in several trade organisations until they agree to do something about the problems.
USA is the "most honest" country, and Sweden is nr 6 according to the survey.
A big part of the "economic growth" in Russia is due to illegal business.
For the average citizen, things have probably not improved much.
That is why we see all these women trying to find a better life.
If things were fine, they would of course not leave friends and relatives...
This is a quote from the BBC:
"Piracy problems.
Counterfeiting is big business in Russia, which is awash with high quality faked copies of music, videos, and software as well as food and clothes.
The criminal gangs that run the trade are well financed and highly organised with many of the fakes produced in Russia and Central Asia using high tech equipment that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Experts estimate that as much as 90% of the computer software in use in Russia alone is counterfeit and that losses to copyright holders run to 100s of millions of dollars annually.
Government 'reluctance'
The Russian government has frequently announced efforts to clamp down on the illicit trade.
But little has changed in the open markets and subways of the capital where counterfeit goods are brazenly sold in public".
