I had an ad on yahoo personals back around 1999. I had a bunch of Russian women emailing me and after a little while I decided to write one of them back. In what I thought would be an innocent email and not amount to anything I actually wrote her as somewhat of a joke we ended up hitting it off. Well, in what one would have thought was a pure scam ended up becoming my wife. I wasn't even pursuing a Russian woman back then. Now, after five years of marriage and now divorced for a year, it was mutual and our lives went in different directions I thought I'd pursue a Russian woman this time. I've joined about four dating sites and I can't believe how hard it is to find an honest and legitimate Russian woman. I've just gone through this site in what I thought was legitimate and am now finding out that the women here are scammers just as much on the other sites. I just found a woman that's both on this site and Elenas. Her fiance ID is 0748295 and Fiance ID 82696. And our job to monitor and remove any wrong doing member form the system. fiance.com doesn't control anybodies brains, intentions. it is not a shop. It is normal personals site, as we have said many time. Nobody will bring you anything on a plate. You just never know which sites have their own employees acting as potential mates. It sort of reminds me of a guy that just got through a gut wrenching divorce and is quickly looking for a replacement. Time does heal all wounds. Hell, it took me nearly 2 years after I seperated from my ex to hook up with another girl friend..it takes a long time to heal wounds and regain trust in women, often to get it burnt down again! Ive never sent a woman a dollar or a flower or even a toffee wrapper. I have never asked a woman where she lives. Its a mistake to do so. That way when Christmas or Womens day comes around, theyre thrilled with an email. You can always tart it up a bit with a few stars and things, they go for that, making it special. I always have the excuse for not sending anything. I dont know where they live. She doesn't speak any english and I wasn't completely sure if she got my exact letters plus I am trying to learn russian, so off goes my snail mail, just not sure when and if it shall arrive. I did get sucked it sending flowers twice, one for womens day( now girl is history) and other for screwing up and with a sorry note. Got to have a pic of them, though. This was well after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. As a result there WERE some very sincere and very desperate women reaching out by any means available in 1999. Alas, conditions are not the same now. There are far fewer desperate SINCERE Russian women. And its unlikely that any are likely to chase you down through cyberspace as you experiences in 1999. Don't get me wrong, there are stil some wonderful, sincere, intelligent, beautiful Russian and Ukrainian women out there. But the dynamics have changed since 1999. You have to go looking ofr THEM now. Take a Romance Social. Get into THEIR environment and you will find them. I STILL can';t beleive that so many of you expect to turn penpals into brides on day. You have to go MEET THEM in person. It might seem a little crass - but compare this to picking berries. In UNUSUAL YEARS you might find them growing roaside and available for the picking from the window of your car. (Like you did in 1999.) But during MOST years you have to actually excert some effort. You might actually have to get out of your car and go LOOKING for them in THEIR environment. If its worth it to you you won't mind. OR you can write letters to your berries and hope the berries want to write you back. Good luck with that. I splash out and buy her a single rose. We have coffee and then go on the shopping trip. I have her convinced I am so poor she buys me stuff and I dont buy her anything. She till wanted to see me the next day. Its true.
