What a complicated mess this can be! I started with Single Russian Woman. com but shortly after communicating with a lady who listed her profession as a Attorney I discovered she didn’t have a clue about electronic communications or even basic computer skills? I contacted Single Russian Woman to notify them of a possible scammer and to let them know I wanted the money used back, they of course woul dn’t return my money and for the most part didn’t give a rats ass that they were supporting a scam.
I recently switched service to Elena’s Models in hopes they are more professional and care about their client’s concerns, I will post more information about my experiences with Elena’s Models as they unfold, There’s a great web site available it’s ( Stop Scammers .com ) please be sure to check out your person there to see if she is listed as a scammer and also be sure to report any BS person you may have encountered. Try to compile as much information as possible and send that to Stop Scammers .com . I also went on Match. Com and found a pile of scammers there, so I believe their everywhere Gentlemen!
Stay Away From This One ( http://www.single-russian-woman.com/?ses= )
Yeah - Elenasmodels is a great site. And really up to date.
Check out their home page. Toward the bottom you will notice pictures to two people hugging - with the tagline "We met through your service almost a year ago and are eternally grateful to you." (Svetlana and Tim, UK)"
That's TimH who used to post here quite regularly (great guy by the way). And he DID meet Svetlana on that site in around 2002 or 2003. SINCE that time, they've been divorced. Then he became a regular here around 2003 or 2004. He met a Ukrainian lady via a completely different means in 2005. They married and have recently had a little girl.
Yet he is still up there with Svetlana. That company needs to update its home page once in a while. Hmmmmm.... I wonder if its listings are any more up to date??
Elenasmodels has a great reputation, you shouldn't have any problems there. Or if you do have problems I'm sure they'll be quick to correct them.
As for a lawyer not knowing about electronic communications, I have no problem believing that at all. A couple years ago I was hired to wire up a brand new law firm. It was a small firm, I setup a wireless network and a Mac on everyone's desk. Of the 5 lawyers that worked there, 2 of them knew how to use email. The other 3 were completely clueless. These were American lawyers btw. They had always worked in large firms and had relied on secretaries to take care of things like email. You'll find a lot of professionals like Doctors, lawyers, etc, who are largely clueless about technology.
I also think this guy is jumping the gun a little in calling this ladu a scammer.
Reminds me of a little kid who's just SURE that there is a monster under his bed.
No doubt he posted this girl to the scammer site he refers to in his post. THIS is why scammer sites are not very helpful. REAL scammers can be up and running before any site hears of them very easily. And many girls on scammer sites are SUPPOSED to be scammers based on the flimsiest of evidence - like that above.
The guy is totally jumping the gun
If a lawyer worked in Moscow of course they would probably have internet, but in many small towns they dont.
My girl is a lawyer and does have the internet in her office and at home. She has just spent 10 days in Saratov to meet with a partner concerning their work. They do not have internet at the office in Sartov and so she has had to go to internet cafe to message me.
Everything is done by mobil telephone, personal contact and paper work.
I know when I registered in Volgograd, the immagration office didnt have a computor or even a type writer, everything was hand written.
These guys are so hung up about scammers its all they see.
Ok folks, I apparently didn’t explain Stop Scammers .com policy as I understand it! They don’t list anyone as a scammer unless they review the correspondence and feel it is inappropriate, misleading, or illegal as I understand. I think if all the men spent a little time reading all the valid literature available on the subject we could make educated “Guesses” that could ultimately effect our future in positive ways. I will remain apprehensive in both my personal dealings and business relations until someone proves me wrong! GB
OK-- forget about the women on the site for a moment. Whomever runs single-rusian-woman.com continues to re-bill my credit card even after cancelling my membership. He also ignores all email. Typical scam site. **BEWARE**
Here are the words of a self proclaimed “Expert” on anything and everything Ukrainian!
“Sad to admit there is a scammer lurking around every corner and you WILL be on your own if you travel alone so be sure to register at Embassy,”
To put his words into proper context, you need to know that he is in “scare mode“! On another day, he might jump all over a person that even suggests that one scammer might exist in Ukraine.
Whatever it takes to keep men going to Ukraine, and using the services he just happens to offer!!
Dilemmas models, right up front say you won't get many letters. I got one during my membership. They have way fewer than right here at fiancee.chin. This place rocks. This week is my one month anniversary. Life rocks. There are no other women as thoughtful as my wife. I find myself laughing a lot more these days.
Elenas models sucked. Very few women wrote. The women there all looked like the 45 year Olds I could have from Jersey city bus station. Fiance.com is the only place of dozens I tried I would ever recommend. So would my beautiful younger Ukrainian wife.
Elenas models may have very few scammers but they do something that no man should like.
They only allow you to see 1 photo of a woman unless you pay to communicate with that woman.
Very often we cannot truly know if we are even attracted to her with only one photo.
I have argued back and forth with them trying to explain to them that it is not fair to make us
pay first, just to find out if we are even attracted. If we are not? No money back.
They want you to put money in their account first,[which is OK], then use that to buy contact
info for a woman.
I did that and even with my money in their account, they would not let me see the other photos
of any woman.
I just cancelled on Single Russian Women. It's a scam agency. I received hundreds of "letters" from women half my age. I am on legitimate sites and rarely get a letter from such a young woman. As for Elena's models, they are highly overrated. I was on there for less than a year, and very few women contacted me. Fiancee.com is still best site that I have found.
