If she’s interested in you. she will respond, send more information, pictures. Etc, and start knowing each other more. I like the independence these offered until a recent letter I sent : it was returned with an agency attachment. It said my first three letters were free and if I decided to further any communication with this girl I had to sign up with their agency and pay a fee. I checked out their agency and read their policies to find out they organize trips to the country including hotel, meals, transportation . Includied also is a translator at their parties to help talk to this girl . after I meet the lady if we decided to continue contacting each other everything would have to be trough the agency and they would not provide or ask her if she agreed to provide personal information. furthermore, if we decided to marry I would have to pay a “sign out contract” this to me seems too intrusive. but I really like this girl what you think is this normal agency policy ? To have this type of control over the whole dating relation? About the “sign out fee” is that normal? olegnay Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 9/3/2003 8:39:27 AM   it is not normal policy. do not sign any contracts. do not use them for trip arramgements. this is complete BS. do not marry her in Russia you wil have problems in devorcing her later if necesary. they can not control somebody else life. start talking to her on the phone. ask her mailing address or refuse to continue correspndence. what is the agency name? what city is it in? you can set up internet access for her in any interet cafe in that city. she probably paid agency membership already. Brainless is Harmless. You wrote you ‘payed a membership’, and also that the first 3 letters were free – I presume you did join them (i.e. paid!) after you found out you were to loose her? HOW did you pay – Credit-card or Transfer or Western Union or how? And is this company registered in the same country you live in? And is this country the US? If the latter part is affirmative then you might have a problem regarding some funny laws valid there (no offense Yankees). Address CodeRed (a lawyer, if he does not respond on this himself) for more accurate info, but you just MIGHT have a potential problem then. However, you 2 could break-up first – which means end of contract. But then you miss each other, you still know how to contact each other etc. and take it from there. This process would take 3 days I guess? :)) If they’re not in your own country however (and either may be the US) I can see no problem – what are they going to do? Threaten you? BOOO!!! Laugh it off, and do as Oleg says. Contact her by any other means, and get her to send you the contact-details of an Internet-café convenient for her so you can arrange payment with them, for her to use their services. YOU do this Pal, don’t send money direct to her. With this kind of agency she herself might be a decoy too, just keep that in mind. If you have NOT paid yet, and have no contact-details of her other than this agency’s E-mail address, by all means pay. Such would allow you to contact her and ask her for the relevant telephone numbers and postal addresses etc. and take it from there. But do not pay this agency with your CC. Use any other means to pay and be anonymous, or spell incorrect, or do it in such a way that it cannot be legally traced. Piece of cake, hope it’ll be a sweet one for you. If you are both in the USA or UK, and you get married, what legal juristiction is a russian dating agency going to have against either of you? - Can they sue you for breach of contract??? I spend 20 dlls in a membership named "Adult Singles" (AS)they (AS), provide photos and private emails to send to any girl you like. I live in the USA. I send some emails and exchanged letters with some girls. most girls were Russian or from Ukraine I was very excited in the beginning I did not expect all the responses etc. in my second letter I was more open talking about me and I expected the same from the ladies I found some will not answer some questions this is when it gets weird... some girl will ask for money or to buy her flowers so she will know I was serious in my intentions. some asked me for money to buy internet café time. I almost did but then I thought "Damn, I barely know this bitch!!" I could imagine later... anyways I realize is real easy to get caught in a scam I noticed the prettiest girls were the scammers. well... most of them. then I receive a response from a girl named (not real name) "Olga". saying she’s interested in continuing communication with me and talked about herself. on the bottom there’s an attachment saying this girl "Olga" is with Gloriagency.com the letter said I get 3 free letters then I must become a full member at glorias agency pay 50 dlls and I will get up to 10 emails in one month. I was still pissed at the scammers and I wrote a letter saying ......."I know you probably not real bla bla bla but I would tell you about me any ways" then I get a response she writes to me she knows there’s a lot of scammers out there but that she’s real and she mentions even makes comments about every topic I had said. obviously, I never had such response and I felt like shit I had wasted my 2 letters already. I write her my final 3rd letter apologizing and mentioned I will think about joining her agency . then I looked at glorias agencies' policy and I read what I mentioned already that all correspondence is through their interpreters and she’s not allowed to give her personal information. etc. if we decide to meet it would have to be trough their agency parties etc. I then thought fuck'em I aint buying this shit but I still remember her response and how cool she was. I tried to forget the whole thing then 2 days ago I receive an email from one of the managers or whatever..... saying "Ms. Olga really liked you. and wants to Know if you’re going to continue communication with her." that’s why im not sure what to do now I don’t care about the fifty bucks much. I went to a real estate agent he showed me the house and he offered me a bank to do the finance. obviously, there was a comission if i had gone through their bank i went to my bank got my loan approval bought the house and the agent got his commision for showing me the house. is the same think here. Im willing to pay the 50 dlls but i will want to be able to talk anything i want with this girl obviously i need a translator. if she decides to give me her information she should be allowed to make her choice. if she speaks very little english is up to us how we will communicate either i learn her language or she learns mine. The Agency would be making their profit by my subscription and hers probably.that is their business to introduce people. they should not penalize her if she drops out of their services. It appears to me she signed a lifetime agreement? I would probably take the tour with them and joined their parties whatever but i think there policies are fucked up and they are loosing potential customers. How many countries have you sued people in? - In the USA and the UK it's probably easy seeing as both are "Dog-EatDog" countries who support anyone able to pay a lawyer to sue anyone but what other countries would honour your legal position? I don't get your problem, it's simple: a signed contract containing a breach-of-contract penalty-clause is a rather specific legal document. Enforcement of such is simple within a legal singularity (i.e country) but becomes complicated as soon as borders have to be crossed. The US and UK are MILES apart - the difference is your 'able to pay'-thing. The US works on commission sometimes, also called "cut" (the difference is risk). But the main diff is the fact that cases will be heard which would nowhere else have a chance to become cases - with mindboggling results sometimes. Mind you, NZ is getting affected by their system.) Matador!!! It would seem your luck is in. This manager/wazzisname contacted you 2 days ago telling you how Sveita (let's not abuse Olga's name here :) is missing you? Shame, and you cannot contact her but for coughing a fifty first... Don't. Contact this manager, and you tell him following: - you're only interested in THIS girl, and yeah, you think you like her - you're not yet 100% sure she is not a scammer (Yep, simply tell him. Never even mention you think the agency themselves are bastards, no, you're unsure about HER!) - you need to speak to her on the telephone first - before you will join! You'd like to hear her voice anyway and you've got some questions for her (don't go into detail here, and if he asks they're personal things) and like to draw your conclusions first. And no, no translator-call (too expensive), you have done a course and are confident you'll manage (but your writing is shit), and she has told you she speaks english a bit (a lie). Of course you'll pay the agency for this call, no questions about that. But you're not phoning yourself, you organise a Russian - Find one, give damn good instructions as to what you want (any contact-details), someone who is able to think on his/her feet and GETS what you want. If possible find a woman, this talks a lot more direct. Maybe not easy but a good shot at what you want. This is the best chance you've got as all your correspondence will be filtered, i.e. joining does not really help. You'll also will not HAVE to join their 'love-tour' (you could go on your own) but they will interfere in your meetings etc, and likely will have you signing some documents first. Dunno, I'll sign Dick away (he's a good friend of mine) if I have to, but that's me I suppose - dunno you. I felt motivated to try this whole dating thing. I bought my PC in February mainly for school purposes (or so I say) but also to try the internet. I decided to join in mid march American Singles (my first agency) Its real cool service you look at profiles and if you find someone attractive you send a “flirt”is free.... and is one two sentences like “I love your profile what you think of mine” type thing. If she’s interested she will accept your flirt or ignore it. . This agency then provides at a twenty dollar per month cost, at full membership you’re allowed as many letters as you want and the real cool thing is they provide a one on one chat line. When you look at profiles you see a “window” that says “im on line” “lets chat” this is private chat and I met a Romanian woman (She works in the Marketing department of a well known company). trough American Singles we known each other since 5/16/03. I tell you guys.....this woman was perfect, for me she speaks very good English (even she don’t admit) from the moment we got online she was funny and interesting. We clicked so well we exchanged private emails and I have talked to her almost everyday at work (yes no wonder these countries are fucked up the chicks are always online :)) We developed a very close relationship on the phone and online. Recently she went on a 10 day holiday. I wanted to make sure it was not just luck I used the time she’s gone to sign up to this agency fiance.com and Adult Singles. in their chat line (Adult singles) I met different interesting people all over the world. The girls I met on line I could not help but compare to “my girl” My girl returned recently about 2 weeks ago I had told her before going on holiday what I was going to do she got mad and went on holiday we talked over the phone once but I wanted to pretty much stay away from her for awhile. Im convinced now after talking to other women. I felt a “cheated” on her I missed her and I love her this is the truth. In her return I confessed the whole thing to her. she was pissed. And we known each other so long and well... we have laughed and fought since we met. I admit most arguments were caused by me I messed with her many times to get her real personality. Maybe my way of convincing my self is weird or im getting too soft on this whole issue the truth is I hope one of you finds this as motivation and does not give up finding the right woman In conclusion, I have no doubts she’s my ½ I will visit her in Romania next month (October). I already made arrangements to talk to her parents and all that. Why am I sharing this with all of you well the truth is....there’s hope in all this scams dog eat dog world someone mentioned.
