I have all the trip ready except that the two ladies was going to meet after got some money will be busy now. I wonder if I should still go or just bag it. Did you have interpreters lined up or were these ladies guiding you? In my opinion if you have it lined up and can afford it I would go. But if these two ladies are the only ones you are meeting and you do not know the language (they were going to guide you) you will need to spend some other moneys for Interpreter/guide. A good Interpreter/guide will be able to get you meetings with ladies. In these situations do not expect to get sex or put a ring on the lady and bring her home. Time will probably be too short for this kind of seriousness. You may be able to meet and establish a start of a relationship. I went to Dnepropetrovsk last year in a similar situation. My friend had cooled off in our correspondence. I called her on the phone a month before I was to go. I know some Russian and she knew less English than I did Russian. I understood she was in the Hospital but could not understand why. Alarmed I called a friend Irina from Kharkov and told her Natalia is in the hospital I dont know why can you call and find out. Irina called back saying Natalia was in the hospital she had not been diagnosed yet but even worse Irina said the feeling for you seems to be gone. If you proceed with your trip I think you will be very disappointed. I told Irina that the ticket were purchased and if that was the case we would end the relationship face to face. This happened and we ended as friends. I found out later she had met a high school sweetheart and they had hooked up. Cant blame her a bird in the had is worth 2 in the bush. I met another lady in Dnepropetrovsk but the next day the agency told me she had been called out of town on business. Yeah right!! So I caught a bus up to Kharkov hired one of Irina's guides and spent 5 wonderful days there. Met a nice lady there that I spent every evening with, enjoyed one day with a family there that were learning English. So you can have a great time there even if your plans fall through. Both ladies speack english, I had chat and called them, limited English but enough to answer me about their home andlife. But I wonder if they will show up. If you got money to throw around you could have some fun but its hard to find the right girl because like girls everywhere, they tell you what you want to hear and what they want. Very few guys go once and find a girl, it is a long and tedious process to find a wife. I would rather go see girls I write to than to go in cold, maybe if you knew russian, you might have a better chance. I don't know how many girls I have tried to strike up a sincere conversation with, but not a one will give me some sort of "real" side. You do have to meet. In the last few years, there have been many very rich (looks-challenged) "not so good-looking, older men from the west who have given most of these girls their own impression of a 'successful' marriage. It doesn't matter if you agree with what I write, but that's because the girl you are writing, is writing words you want to believe...
