I've spent alot of hours going over these profiles of women over 35 on several sites, finding few attractive women at this age- now it is a broad generalization since women over 35 I'd assumed are married so the pool is not equal with the under 35 crowd to make any conclusions. I've started to think perhaps that the beauty of youth seems to fade fairly quickly in Ukraine. I figured something genetic- but never though environment. I didn't think that much about it, but.....
I was searching for another subject I ran into this article that succinctly explains their opinion- http://en.for-ua.com/news/2007/08/15/124057.html
So the solution could be for these younger women to be better taken care of in their early years by one of us older guys with heart, means, etc. so they are able to look good after 35 and have a lifespan over 61 average!
Badpenny,
But many 'Ukrainians' are not 'genetically' Ukrainian, 'genetically' they may be Russian, why, why, why do guys keep talking only of Ukraine?
Penny...I have come to the conclusion that girls below 33 in ukraine are better looking than in LA( light eyes & slender figures)but over 35....something about nearing 40 does something to these lovelies, the luster or something goes, hard to explain. While in LA, other than figues, looks wise they hold up better, in my eyes at least. Of course I am generalizing, women can be different as individuals, so I am not talking about 'your' girl.
If everything works the way it should as the outer beauty fades the inner beauty should replace it.
I will guess that us men will probably deteriorate faster than the women simply because we have a head start on them.
I have at least an average size or plus nose and I have heard that your nose and your ears never quit growing. This could change relative structure with age. If nothing else it would make it more difficult to kiss :-).
I don't know where the scientific study was conducted or who did it, but just read it.
80% of Ukrainians look older
80% of able to work people of Ukraine physically look older than their real age, according to scientists. Reasons of fast aging of Ukrainians are bad ecology, constant stresses, tobacco and alcohol abuse and also obesity.
For today biological limit of human life in the world makes 90-100 years. But average lifetime of Ukrainian is 61 years. Such factors as style of life, happy marriage, good sleep, regular sex, optimistic mood make people’s life loner.
Lifetime much depends on a person himself. People in most countries of the world live longer. Average lifetime of Western Europeans makes 77 years.
Beemer or is it BMW?
Exactly my feeling. LA girls in general are much fewer that are even close to who I saw in Kiev.
You go to a mall in LA, and you'd be lucky to see 25 fine ones. Just sitting at a cafe in Kiev I saw more than that. But I have found a few on these UKR sites who are very attractive at that age, even one at 45- they are hard to find though.
It looks like that figure 61 is for men judging by other sites on the net, the women average 73 compared to US average men 73 and women 79. It looks like Zambia is the loser average for both men and women is 36. Japan is the winner at 76 and 83. It says Philippine women live 569 years but I think that is a typo at http://www.efmoody.com/longterm/lifespan.html
Badpenny,
There was a famous article in a UK newspaper many many years ago whereas they reported that a WWII bomber had been found on the moon!
Don't take it personally but this sounds like an aussieman41 thread, lots of reading but without any action. I don't care what articles may say, what crap they may report, nothing can beat first hand experience, seeing is not only believing but understanding also.
Badpenny,
And just to follow up on my previous post, I cannot recall seeing many obese people in Ukraine, the economy doesn't allow them to eat out or eat excessively. With regards to alcohol abuse, well nowhere near close to 80% of the nation can afford to drink excessively, again the economy doesn't allow it.
But, being a regular in Zaporozhye I can say that Zaporozhye is famous for one thing, 'shit'. Lenin had an industrial complex built there, they built a dam to power it, and the city followed.
Great USSR planning, they built the city downwind from the industrial complex and when those smoke stacks are open you can see and smell the shit drifting across the city, talk about bad air :)
Matin...as far as affording to drink alcohol..the ukrainians must be stealing it...I don't remember seeing any guy without a bottle in his hands. What got me is the drinking is in public....guess that is a law pushed by the vendors. Never tried it though.....guess it was ingrained in my head to drink inside!!!!
I never saw an obese person in Ukraine either, what I can't understand is how they can afford to eat at restaurants, they are usually filled.....they must get money from the same place where girls get money for their wardrobe!!!!
beemer,
Have you found a WWII bomber on the moon also?
You can't recall seeing a guy without a bottle in his hand, well how about the immigration guy that checked your passport etc. did he have a bottle? How about the taxi drivers, do they drive with bottle in hand (it might seem like it sometimes), how about the guys out shopping with wife and kids, all with bottles in hand?
Get real beemer, you're recollections are so far removed from the truth.
Martin,
Don't be so literal Martin....
The point I was making is the ease of drinking in public, which to me, ends up, meaning more drinking. I didn't say they were alcoholics, I didn't see people falling over themselves!!
Of course, I didn't see people drinking while they were working, I didn't say that. I was just comparing it to how it is in states where you get arrested for drinking in public, besides Martin where do you think ukrainians
get their money from to drink and eat so often, since you have a pipeline into their ways?
beemer,
Me being literal? Don't you think that you, previously, exaggerated just more than a little bit?
Why are you asking me where they get their money from to drink and eat so often, to suggest that is in total contradiction to my previous statement(s)!
drinking in public doesnt indicate any alcoholism. it just points to the different laws, thats all! if it were not prohibited in the US, u would also see people with a bottle of beer in their hands in the street.
not long ago in russia (or maybe it was the local law of my city, dont remember) the law was passed prohibiting drinking in public. but it does not work yet properly. anyway, the militia may apprehend u if u r passing with a bottle in the street.
When the cities have festivals here in the states and it is legal to have alcohol you see a large per cent of the people drinking it. Another reason you may not see as much of it here are the drinking and driving laws. Most people have to drive home if they drink and drive there are very strong consequences. Perhaps the same is in the FSU but not as many of them drive home.
When I was in Dnepropetrovsk there was an Irina Bilek concert in the middle of Karl Marks avenue. There were people drinking there, I had two or three beers myself but I only saw one or two instances of a person acting totally drunk. Dont know that it would have been different in the States.
One thing I noticed when I was invited to different peoples houses for supper. When they drink they eat and alternate drinking and eating unlike many people who drink in the States when they start drinking they quit eating so alcohol goes to the blood faster.
I worked construction for a lot of years. I think I saw a lot more drinking there than I did in the FSU. A lot more times than I care to remember I had to go to jail to bail employees out so I would have a crew.
According to international suveys, Ukrainians drink a lot less alcohol than those in all western countries. It seems this idea of the men all being drunks is another myth.
It then remains an unanswered question of, why Ukrainian women find it so difficult to find a man in their own country?
Well I had (2) interesting decline letters today! Finally some humor. One girl read my intro (which states no children of course) and she said "you are too pragmatic for me"... LOL. I love it. The interpreter evidently didn't know what else to write. Another one said "You are selfish and self affected"... another laugh, that is a first. Here if I were to travel across the globe, spend 1000's, etc. and I am selfish. LOL. Evidently the kid thing with her too! Please....
Of all the stuff I have gotten, both these surprised me as I normally get alot of positive responses to my profile and interesting intro, but most don't read the fine print (no kids) part and I have to ask again on the second letter, THEN they say no. The search functions on the 3 sites I am on, do not have a check box for "Wants Children" as do the American based dating sites... so I have to plow through all these manually. It's a pain.
The fact that young beautiful women were wandering around Kiev Centrum with large 40 oz. bottles of beer in their hands I found to be kinda attractive. Since few drive, it really does not make a difference. At least they don't put a brown paper bag around it though. ha.
