"Ye ol" Turbo? Tex is from Texas, not old England.
Hey Tex: Are you from the big city or more of a rider of the open range? I'm asking because I have pondered the same question you ask. I decided on Ukraine becasue I am not a big city sort of person. and I understand that most of the women in ST. Pete and Moscow are. My guess may be wrong - but I'll soon be taking that plunge to find out. And then I'll report back as one who has actually been there. (And that is something rare in these pages.)
Does it say anywhere in my post that I thought Tex was from anywhere else? - I never mentioned the UK!
Re:I'll report back as one who has actually been there. (And that is something rare in these pages.)
Ok, I see this is still nagging at you. You cannot blame other people for not having gone there or not wanting to respond. You seem to be angry that you reposted the same thing 3 times and then got slated for it. Face it after 3 threads asking the same thing, it's pretty obvious you won't get the response you want if you haven't already got it.
I don't want to get into an arguement over this - I apologised for any offence a long time ago. I never saw an acceptance.
You should realise that other people do not like to see a message board have the same topic reposted 3 times - it is irritating. That is the only problem I had with you - nothing personal against you or your request for help/knowledge.
Turboz - Re-read your reply to Tex. You started out saying "..ye ol partner". "Ye ol" is generally an Old English reference ("Ye Ol Red Lion Inn" for example). I was merely making an innocent humorous comment based on your attempt to sound Texan. If I had known that I needed to explain it to you I would not have bothered.
My reference to comments regarding tours made by people who have not yet been on them - is more in response to another thread (probably curently one away from this one) originated by me but currently commented on again by people wo have never actually been on tours. It had noting to do with your comments of a month ago (get over it) and I did not realize that I was required to formally accept your apology.
A little thicker skin might be required here Turbo. Lets move on to something else now. Okay?
Jet
Ok, sorry about that!
So I may have sounded like a fool with the "Ye ol" thing - I can accept that!
Sorry if I've stirred things up again - wasn't intentional. I just noticed your line about
I'll report back as one who has actually been there. (And that is something rare in these pages.)
and took that to be a grumble about the folk on this board.
I guess I really shouldn't take things so seriously eh?
