I have no problem find dates and all... but I just so sick of women who cancel at last minutes or who are very demanding. I simply just want a long-term girlfriend who appreciate who i am, and as of now, I have not had a single long-term relationship. I no longer want to be lonely, I have many accomplishment in my life like owning my own condo, have a very successful business and goes to the best university in Canada, but as of now women is not one of them. I really want some change and perhaps go to FSU for a vacation and maybe meet someone special to bring back. Currently, most of my money are tied up in real estate and in process finishing my Commerce degree, other than that I am pretty set. From what i read, i got picture of Ukraine women is passionate, take care, appreciates and actually listens to their man. I am not looking for a super model to show off my friends, i simply want a women who i can love and cherish for long time and bring back to share my life and my success. I am not into internet dating, i like to meet women on the street and in person... what is the likely hood of that happening in Ukraine? Thanks so much! For instance do not mention your success. The good women are looking for an ordinary guy. The scammers are looking for successful men. The language is almost impossible without help unless you know it. You need to learn and understand their cultures. They are women I assume you are a man you need to learn and understand women. All woman will have emotional needs. A long term or lifetime relationship is not something you acquire, it is something you build and work to improve forever. So your success depends a lot on you and the blessing that God gives you. If you are serious read all you can of course on this site there are good posts and bad ones so after you read enough I hope you will know the difference. Even the bad ones can make you think and provoke a search for the right answers. There is a voice chat you can enter on Saturday morning at 10 central standard time US where if you have mic and speakers you can ask questions to real Ukrainians. It can be entered free as a guest and I will not put a link to it but will pm one to you. The Internet is full of information also some good and some bad. So fire it is possible. The question is do you want to pay the price of time, effort and money to pursue it. I wish you the best of luck. Well entering in to this FSU dating malarky is a minefield thus if you've already had enough of games then look elsewhere, secondly if you find the right lady she's going to be looking for marriage, unless you plan on marrying her in the short (ish) term then she probably won't be interested and you probably wouldn't get a Canadian visa were you not planning marriage, thus little if any long-term girlfriend option, and thirdly, if you are thinking of doing it in 'one' vacation you can forget that idea straight away, love doesn't materialise in one or two weeks of being together and all you're likely to pick up in one or two weeks is a money grabber or a hooker. fire Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/1/2008 6:27:45 PM   Thanks everyone, I recently found out that there is no Fiance VISA for Canada. Kiev probably has the most accessible airport and I am sure there are girls on the streets especially in the city center. Now all you have to do is meet them and talk them into going back to Canada with you. I have never tried this approach but I guess it should work at least as good as it did for you in Canada. I do not know much about Canadian visas but my first question would be are you a citizen of Canada. Your use of the English language would indicate to me that maybe you are a foreign student in Canada. If you want to explore visit bigger cities and smaller ones nearby. My favorite at moment is Odessa/Nikolaev area. I am not a big fan of 'no plan' visits. That's just me. There are lots of places in Ukraine that deserve attention, but once your goal is to find a woman, will you enjoy going to places all by yourself? It will be boring, and even torturing, for when you walk along the streets of Ukrainian cities, you see beautiful women everywhere around you. Many men say this "teases" them badly to see stunting girls pass by and pay no attention to them. If you only wanted sightseeing, I'd recommend you to visit Western Ukraine (Lviv), Crimea, Odessa and, of course Kiev. But if you want to meet some girls, I'd suggest you to try visiting a university city, like Kharkov (they also spell it as Kharkiv). There 65 universities in the city, and the population is approaching 2 mln. Please, take the trip seriously, and be especially careful if you visit Odessa and Crimea. As these are seaside and ports areas, there have always been many adventurous people in these areas. Such people may spoil your impression about the country at the very first visit. This is the reason why I am suggesting to try a university city first. Each city has dozens of marriage agencies or affiliates of larger dating services. Thanks a million! zeeco Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/2/2008 4:04:19 PM   Fire, lots of men look to the Ukraine as it requires less visa restrictions than Russia, however every scammer has established this fact, that is why most people on here bitch about the Ukraine, my advice would be to apply for a tourist visa to Russia, it won't be difficault if your Canadian, and go to cities east of Moscow, if you go for a city of over 500,000 population, you will find they are very western and the girls will be sophisticated, Ekaterinburg,Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk are good examples, if you look for girls from these cities you will have a better chance as fewer men travel here looking for relationships, always choose a girl who can speak a little English, ensure you speak to her on the phone a few times before thinking of meeting her, and get hr to make some kind comittment before you visit her...just to ensure she is serious....good luck beemer18 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/2/2008 5:24:01 PM   Zeeco, your advice seems more for someone with some experiences already. I have been to russia several times, and hassled by police constantly with very little english spoken. I felt I have to be really careful at all times. just my experience. have a totally opposite experience in ukraine, although I had the money-drop fiasco one time(I knew what to do already). I have learned some russian to try to fit in better, so that helps. Fire...find a site to talk to girls, get your feet wet but always remember if it is too good to be true it ISN'T. If you knew some russian you can find girls free .ru sites. Come in with no expectations and positive attitude, with having a great time your focus and girls secondary. Right on...A guy I know who worked in PNG (Papua New Guinea) told me about how the women there are really into ONS - while at the same time they eat male flesh - ie: canabils. He lived there 3 years ago. Dont believe everything you see advertised fire. There are as many superficial girls into ONS in Ukraine as in UK (I dont know about USA) - although maybe dont behave in the same way and so you are led on. That is just my 2 cent worth. Obviously if you learn both Ukranian and Russian and want to move there for work then go for it. Otherwise, as posted above, look eastwards into Eastern Russia or Central Asian Republics where women tend to be less used to foreigners, are more genuinely interested in them and so you have a better chance. They are probably also less likely to be money grabbing and more likely to be into homely comforts. Go for it but dont stick to boring Ukraine. If beauty is what you want then realise there are more beautiful girls in neighbouring countries (Czech, Hungary, Serbia, Russia etc) who for one thing at least manange to keep their body relatively intact after 30+.
