You know how your communication is going and can get a feel for her attitude through correspondence. I'll take Yalta, Sevastopol,Mariupol and Kiev over Odessa anyday. If you look lately, the most corrupt of the agencies and girls are coming from Odessa. Also the shipping point of a foreign prostitution ring. Odessa will pass lugansk as the new corrupt town. You make a point to say you were there several times last year? I mean if you are on a dating and sightseeing tour fine, but if you're trying to find a real woman, and I mean a real honest to goodness woman you need to walk off the beaten path. Mind you the airport, that's another thing, the runway is the worst that I have ever experienced (if you're looking out of the window as you land you can see the potholes in it), it's even bumpier that Zakinthos airport and that's saying something, at least I didn't spill my G&T during landing at Zakinthos :) And as for the ODS airport buses, one of them must be firing on all of 2 cylinders whilst leaking fuel everywhere and shall we mention the airport taxi drivers? Well I have a 4 hours layover in ODS airport one day but had to keep walking out of the terminal for a cigarette, every time I went outside it was 'taxi, taxi, taxi', these guys are worse than those at Borispol, they were following me across the car park and everywhere. At one point I was on the mobile to the wife, who was in hospital at the time, joking with her about these characters and she asked me how I was dealing with it, I told her that I was telling them to 'fock off' of course and whilst she may not approve of me swearing she just burst out laughing :) beemer18 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/4/2008 9:00:05 PM   Nasfan...I have met 3 women in Odessa and spent time with them....we were not 'dating', unfortunately things didn't work out but they never gave me idea I was being 'used' for their pleasures. After a couple days, mainly walking around or spending time at marina and some dinners( one came to my apt to cook dinner), we decided it wasn't going to work out, which was fine, that is the reason for meeting..... to know for sure. Just watch out for the red flags along the way. The first thing to do is as Martin says above. If she comes up as a scammer 99% of the time she will be. If not, take the next step...get her email address and run an IP checker. This will 90% of the time tell you where the emails are coming from....usually down to the town where the computer is. If all is cool then continue with correspondance until you're ready to take the plunge and get on the boat. If she is genuine she won't want to hang around in endless emailing, so plan you trip, and if she is genuine she will help you...but always communicate. She should have her own phone too...don't let her tell you that she hasn't...that's a red flag. Unfortunately from my pov the way things are I'm always on the look-out for the red flags Even a small thing that doesn't makes sense and I walk away. There are a lot of players in this game, some want money right away and these are easy to spot. Some just want a holiday fling and a foreign boyfriend....these are the real players. I'm sure if you ant up $40 for each girl he can maybe get an e-mail address, maybe even a phone number..........now what happens if girl has no e-mail address, doesn't speak english and only get letters in an agency, which probably represents 80% of girls!!! Now what????? Just giving some thoughts on how I have seen things!!! I don't worry about the scammer girl, just because she shows up on a scammer site isn't 100% bad, I usually get a feel about girl through letters but if you are on a pay per letter, good chance of spending lots of cash to find out about girl. I probably over 2 years time checked out only a few girls. To each his own!! I have never met a scammer...only the gold digger...there is a difference. Rag'n'Bull Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/10/2008 10:34:54 PM   Well the answer would be to get the hell away from Anastasia :) kiwinorth Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/11/2008 1:38:45 AM   Scotti you will just have to go fourth and learn most of this yourself,,you will get a feeling whats wasting your time to something good,, most are time wasters. its a time thing I'm afraid, but if ya got a couple of dollars do a organised trip to Ukraine, tour the city's with booked hotels and prepaid tickets for trains or what ever . have a lady in each city to meet, possibly you will not meet,, time wasters:) but all this gives you a learning curve to this slavic land and its women. you will make mistakes,, take a trip and get them out of the way, do Ukraine first its cheaper and a lot more english spoken i would think. use Anastasia just to get the girls in each city and go, they are expensive so don't use them for to long. when i did this i lined up 6 girls on Anastasia, i found lugansk girls i chose one was good one bad, Mariupol one good one time waster, Crimea time wasters, Kiev ok. this trip i learnt a lot and was needed, and enjoyed all the girls,, except the no shows. hell i didn't even know of this forum back then, so you will pick up some things on here,, whats good if unsure of anything just ask on here. kiwinorth Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/11/2008 7:45:40 AM   the other thing i forgot to say scotti was pay per letter sites and especially Anastasia's you are dealing with interpreters, these interpreters are given there own Lady's to interpret for. if you piss them off like hint to lady the site is shit its a big possibility your girl will not receive your letter how you wrote,, this is there way to make you ask again,, or explain yourself again,,, basically its there way to get another 5 6 7 dollars out of you... some are just useless interpreters. they just cannot be trusted. you see its not always the girl at the end of letter but sometimes these useless employee's in the middle. also never use there flower photo services,, they cannot be trusted,, use independent, this gets your email and phone number to her and you will now it will not be the same photo they have given to 20 guys. this way you will now if its a real address, not made up by agency or interpreter. also check out other agencies for same girl, might have better rates. personally i dont use them if i can help it.
