In each city there are ladies who are your type and ladies who are not as well as you maybe their type or not. You must put out of your mind that these ladies are desperate and will marry just anybody. Some men have had bad experiences in certain cities. But that does not make the whole city bad. Talking about the good ladies on their profiles they list some criteria of their search but this does not mean if you simply meet this criteria you can marry her and take her home with you. You must win her heart and you can by no means buy it with money. You must convince her that you are worth leaving everything she knows as normal and you must come to know that she is the kind of lady you could enjoy the rest of your life with. Treat it like dating in your own country, as you spend time together either you get closer or further apart. There is also a bad element there. If you go in spending money on them to impress them and try to win them there is a good chance you will attract one of these. And if you are pouring money on them how will you know if they are attracted to you or your money. If you do not know how to do simple inexpensive things and have fun then maybe you should stay home. So there are two things that are necessary to even start to look for success. The most important is that you must be the man that a woman would want and then after you become this man you must know how to find her and realize whether she is genuine or not. A horse can be lead to water but he must know how to drink and desire to do so. Now just want to start from square and try to be just a regular project. I am in no hurry, just difficult to get a good feeling with a distance communication and unfurtanetely most of the ladies do not have internet for live chat and the only way to communicate is with letters or e-m and phone calls. In the other hand I already know how bad it could be to carry the wrong lady. I married a woman from Odessa in 05. I am now involved in a very nasty divorce proceeding. I am 61 she now claims to be 57 although she told me she was 47. She left without warning 1/16/07 taking one of my vehicles which she totaled in an accident in West Hollywood making an illegal left hand turn on 1/19/07. She left me a note saying she loved me very much. I was served with a restraining order on 1/18/07 saying 'I beat her ,choked her, and injected her with poison to make her crazy". (I kid you not). The judge would not grant the R.O. She then hired an attorney (which I had to pay for) and she was given $2000 a month spousal support because she did not speak English and she had no job. I have worked in law enforcement for 23+ years. She had a green card for two years which expires in 3/08. The only way she can stay in the country is to prove I abused her. She has had someone contact my work and I had to go to the local police dept. to be questioned. They were not on my side and treated me like a child molester. This has all happened in the last week. I never laid a hand on her. I was sending her son in Odessa $600 a month which is a king's ransom in Ukraine as you all know. She has now filed ANOTHER restraining order which I have to go to court on 2/13/07. I have not seen or talked to her since she left except in court. I could lose my job, my home and my retirement. She claims in this new R.O. that I beat and choked her repeatedly, shut off the heat in the house, took her credit cards and attempted to kidnap her in 11/07. As you can well imagine I am at my wit's end. I have spent almost $30,000 to date with no end in sight. I have read these boards for years and I love all you guys. I would not wish what I am going through on my WORST ENEMY. I do not have enough time left to start over so this has just been awful. I loved this woman very much. The thing I do not understand is why she is trying to destroy me. Any counsel or attorneys out there that can give me any advice?????? There may be some perfectly honest ones but I would not count on it. My personal preferences are agencies the ladies have to come into in person to register if you can trust this. And then you must get contact info so that you can communicate directly. The good ones probably do not have time to hang around and chat all day long but most have cell phones and when they trust you enough to give you the number you can have direct contact if you do not abuse it. Try to become best friends first, nothing else. If you accomplish this you will still have a relationship after age and physical appearances fade. Almost every legal paper you guys filled out from her visa- marriage papers- all immigration papers would have had her birthday on them. Not to mention if you had any kind of insurance or almost any other domestic registration. He was involved with an FSU lady but had reduced his actual age by 10 years, she believed he was 10 years younger than he actually was, I told him, to the effect, that he was a frigging idiot, a favourite question at the fiance visa interview is what is his date of birth and he would never be able to let her see his passport, which many of them like to look at, nor any other such document. How can a guy go through a marriage without realising her date of birth, it's just unrealistic, he must have had blinkers on. Her green card reflects that she would have been 47 but in the court documents she is now magically 57!!! I cannot begin to tell you the lies and deceit this woman has perpetrated upon me.
