I have recently started communication with a lady from Odessa.
After the usual checks, her profile has come up on a number of scammer sites.
The thing is; she replied to my initial email with a reply asking me only one question.
Upon my simple one line reply, she wants me to call her as she says she cannot write long letters.
I didn't even ask for her number.
Is this a new method of scamming?
Kirkland,
With all due respect, and ignoring the idiot above, how can asking you to phone her possibly be a scam?
If you have the right methods then a call is a few cents per minute, wait to hear what she has to say and then you will know, one way or the other, if it is a scam or not.
Kirk?????? How is that scamming??? She wants you to call her...how does she make money from that........maybe if she asks for money she can be a scammer. I think you are putting the cart before the horse.
If you give me her profile # and site I will investigate for you!!!!! :)))
Maybe she is going to lead you into the an agency translated three way call. Which is very expensive. So maybe there lies the scam in waiting. If its one on one call then I say give it a try and see where it leads. But you are probably wasting time if she really is on so many scam sites.
Actually she's only on one scammer site. But her name comes up as a time waster on another forum.
It's a possibility that she may gain money from someone merely phoning her. (Money from the phone company). Hence my post here to see if anyone else is aware of this. I've read about this scenario.
I'm thinking of phoning her out of curiosity.
Profile number 198163 on Russian personals.
I have lived in Australia 43 years, never heard off or used the word "googsy", its not part of the Ozzie slang dictionary...its not in mine.
What are you, Nooga?, fake Aussie?...Russian trying to pass himself off as an Aussie and doing a sh*t job of it, really unconvincing, gets the Golden Raspberry for fake acting!
Noogle, your posts are becoming tiresome. And you really have nothing to say have you?
I was slightly impressed by your You-Tube acknowledgment of your failings, but your ranting since then hardly merits an adult response.
I'm too old a cat to be fucked by a kitten. Go back to your mom. I'm bored with you now.
Yeah, she's definitely a scammer, an international telephone company agent, persuading poor naive americans making unnecessary phone calls :))))) ha-ha-ha
I like the way you put that into perspective FSU. Been a while since you have commented here hope things are well with you. I agree with most of the rest I am always happy to be able to talk on the phone with someone I am interested in. If you understand each other you can get and give as much info with Q & A on the phone in 15 minutes as two weeks of letters and it does not cost as much as translation. Usually weeds out the scammers with hair on their chest too. But there are still times I say bad things about those International Telephone Company Agents.
