After speaking to a couple of girls I am heeding advice fro people on this site and I am visiting Russia next week! This is a sudden decision but I am really excited about the idea. My question is this. I have seen ads for dating magazines in Moscow. Are magazines like these widely available in newsagents over there? If so do they include telephone numbers of the girls who advertise themselves? I am definitely meeting one girl and I hope that I won't actually want to meet anyone else, but, I have 5 days and would like at least the chance to meet somebody else if the one meeting I have is not successful for us. Finding a girl of your dreams from there will be difficult. I call Moscow the New York of Russia. All the people who are from there think they are better than anyone else. Moscow is also totally polluted by our western ways. It is also the second most expensive city in Europe. Second only to your lovely London. Not sure if the Magazines provide personal contact information. I doubt that they would. If I was you I would do a web search on all the agencies in Moscow and then visit them in person. Go through their catalogs and pay for the introduction date. Don't judge Russia or Ukraine on Moscow. It's country in itself. Lets hope your one girl is worth spending all your time with. In the best case you can be just disappointed, in the worst-robbed and scammed. If you still decide to do it-choose girl in advance and make possible research-look through the scam lists, talk to her a few times on the phone. Many of the girls that advertise themselves in dating magazines just do it for living-they meet different foreigners on tours, visist restaurants and ask for money.So be careful.
