I've never been married. All my relationships...domestic and overseas...have failed. Prenups are the way to go IMO. You want a woman who will love you for who you are and not for what she can get from you down the road when the time is right! :-))
I was asking if anyone had brought this up with there partners and how it was taken
not for silly comments.
I have a son and have to protect him is all I have had a few relationships over the years
and women arnt the same if the relationship ends!Oh and they dont laugh at your jokes any more either. 2 long terms ended good and one bad. Its nothing to do with love.Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
And Danny your posts arnt welcome you got screwed over, big deal get over its take a man to get over stuff and get on with life.Good for her we arnt all as foolish as you. Maybe if you had of spent your money on some English lessons you would have been better off. Instead of wasting it on some scammer.I have no interest in your opinion as I have said before you bore me with your broken English and anger go get therapy.
Stuartde.
Pre-nuptial agreements are referred to under Irish Law under the Family Law Act 1995 Section 9(1)(c) www.irishstatutebook.ie/1995/en/act/pub/0026/index.html and the Family Law (Divorce) Act 1996 section 14(1)(c) http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/1996/en/act/pub/0033/index.html whereby a court may vary a pre-marital agreement. The court may look behind the agreement and may distribute the assests differently from what was proposed in the agreement.
They would only be not legal if one person didnt declare all assets.
And Stuart marriage dosnt fail all the time Marriage breakup in Ireland is the lowest in Europe and one of the lowest in the world. It takes 2 to tango.
My understanding was incorrect so. Re your comment on marriage breakups I dont doubt it and am not doubting your relationship. But I expect that most Irish men are married to Irish women.
Having talked to Danny i can actually say hes a kewl guy! I have a lot of issues to iron out with him its alot of work but I think im up for the job haha!
He and nooga have something in common they like to make statements that get people going
and probably they thrive on it! It dosnt mean they are bad .
I would aggree. It's good for people to put their point of view across.
Doesn't matter if some folks don't like it. This is a forum where all points of view should be welcome.
There are too many on here that just boast about thier exploits and how many girls they have lined up, or how many girls they've had.
Some of what they say might even be true, but why brag about it.
i think if yr fsu loves u she can easily understand u and yr wish to have a prenup. theres nothing bad abt it (if i was offered it i would agree to it of course)
just on the contrary, for instance if she does not wantt o sign the prenup according to which she wont get any real estate and 200 th usd after divorce it would make even me think if she is honest to u and really loves u.
u know i would even think of the prenup as sort of stability in the future. i would know from the very beginning what i have a right for and what i ll get if i get divorced. i wont need to fight with my ex-husband. yes i do think a prenup may bring more peace to the family.
Foreign B's are the worst at screwing you over in a divorce.Protect the assets you had before marriage with a thorough and detailed prenuptial agreement which does provide for her in a divorce settlement, that is fair but you are in control of what she gets..you can't draw up a prenup that would be considered unjust by the courts and varied or thrown out, you have to make some limited provision for her which seems fair on the surface but protects the bulk of your premarital assets e.g you have $500,000 worth of assets before marriage consisting of a house, car and savings, give her a maximum of 20% share after shes been married to you for 2 years, which would amount to $100,000 and if its less than 2 years, she only gets $50,000 or 10% and told to fook off + a one way air ticket back to her country, if its less than 1 year, $10,000 + a ticket back home + a bit of verbal cussing!
Seems fair and generous to me.
