Hello all, I came across the FSU websites by accident and thought i'd give it a try, the only website i've used so far has been globaladies. I saw a young lady that seemed very appealing so i purchased a few tokens and sent her an e-letter, then next day i had 2 inbox messages from totally random women who's profiles didnt really appeal to me, however i opened 1 anyway out of curiosity. That evening i recieved 6 more messages from random women again so i just deleted them. I haven't heard from the lady i mailed yet so i just continued to browse other sites and saw that she was also on 1st-russian-bride with the same name and profile. I'm curious to know if globaladies and 1st-russian-bride are linked in any way? Also is it common for ladies to be on more than 1 website? On average how many people will the russian women be corresponding with at any one time? Are the women genuinely willing to move to a totally different country or are some of them just after long distance relationships?

best thing you can do is just spend some serious time reading alot of the old threads on here - its a goldmine of information and alot to take in but it will give you a good feel for the pitfalls. only thing I would add is that everyone comes on here thinking that its gonna be different for them, that they are going to be the one to bag a "model quality" 20-something who "just wants to be loved", and most people have to learn the harsh reality the hard way. i include myself in that too

yep, spend some time reading the old threads on this forum. there is some excellent advice. i didn't actually meet the girl i'm going to see via a dating site, but i have been using them for quite a while. i would say that it seems normal for girls to be on more than just one dating site, why not!? i am! lol! i quite like online-dating-ukraine.com and i know that there are at least 2 or 3 other sites that must use the same database, as girls info and photos are identical. i guess i was corresponding with half a dozen or so girls at a time, so i would expect girls to be corresponding with more than that. my girl has no real interest in leaving ukraine. /pete

Keep away from globalladies or affiliated websites. Globalladies are a pay to open email from ladies scam at around $7 usd each to open e-mails which are mostly fake manufactured letters made by this agency, making out ladies are interested in you. If you join them in no time you will be bombarded with heaps of messages from so called ladies that you will have to pay dearly to open each one, trouble is its canned e-mail and fake..this is how they make their money..payments to open fake e-mails which will lead you no where as the ladies don't exist or your correspondign with an agency translator and the actual lady does not know she is being used. They are like confidential connections or now they call themselves UAladies, another scam agency who sends out fake e-mails from real girls.

yes bassuk we all can advise the only ones that are saved from to big deciet pit ( are the ones that listen , My mate the aussie lives in moscow last 10 years boy oh boy is that lad an authority on russia adhear to his famous words believe 50% what you see 35% of what you hear nothing in russia of what you are told as its geared to suit them , sadly not like other countries you know how they promote tourism and all that . Russia like a big sponge ''come in sucker '' you want keep it you financials hmm we not think so comrade we have it 90 ways take your money ! lovely crowd - such a nice country stepped in history ---why the doors are not flung open to ''joe tourist'' beats all sensible reasoning . Why they can't be straight just a little bit makes the best of us wonder . new guys going there ay ''ahh more grist for the russian volcano '' and its insatiable thirst for $$$$$. to sad to wreck your sunday over mate -tell the newby take a quick trip vietnam get laid 1000 times in a fornight guess what the whole deal you get out of it for $2k women and all , and yu can walk away from the grief . yu wont come home with a wife - but who cares ! mike00

Russ, AS bassuk says, this subject has already been covered. When a lady signs up to Global Ladies she submits to them an intro letter and it is written in the small print that GL may use this letter as they see fit, or words to that effect. GL then spam guys with such letters, without the ladies knowledges, merely to tempt guys to spend money opening them and/or responding to ladies that have shown no interest in him.

Cheers for the advice, I have recieved about 10 letters from random women on the globaladies site i dont even have a picture on my profile with them so how can any "real" woman be interested in someone she cannot see. It's a real shame that sites like that exist just purely for the money with little regard for peoples feelings. I did recieve a letter today from the girl i wrote to on friday from globaladies which answered all my questions and more and to me that seemed pretty genuine, however after reading some of the posts here it seems pointless to pay to send or read a letter when it probably isn't really her. One thing i did find though was a website called jimslists has anyone on here checked it out?

I beleive Jimslists is a front for Elenas models. Think its the same guy. Not really familiar with the format but believe its a pay per letter deal. Could be wrong though..just giving my tuppence worth.

well id be wary of generalising too much. i've a met a nice genuine lady through global ladies, but i've met a scammer too ... every site has good and bad
