I do not fly, unless there is little or no alternative, on budget airlines, I have only ever flown 3 sectors on budget airlines and I have never said anything that would contradict that. If you would care to disprove that then please be my guest! I have never flown with a Russian airline because I have never been to Russia however I have flown many times on Ukrainian airlines, operating both eastern and western aircraft, and I have no hesitation in doing so each time I fly with one. But, the geriatric B747 that I made a post referring to was operated by a Russian 'budget' airline, it is obviously an ex western airline aircraft no longer suitable, to the west, for passenger transportation and if it weren't for the likes of Transaero operating it, and other geriatric B747's, like a 'cattle truck' then it would have, no doubt, been converted to a freighter, parked up in the desert or scrapped. Aerosvit have the best pilots...if you can fly the planes they use you could probably fly anything.
