All information at all would be very much apreciated!
Thnk you very much
I mentioned in your other post about trying for New Zealand, they have a homosexual clause in their Immigration Act. I saw it while studying hard to get my work visa approved. As a British Commonwealth citizen, she'll get approved for citizenship much more quickly than an American.
You don't have to get married, just get recognized as Same Sex Partner... I kind of embarrased a lot of people when I mentioned how hard it was to get my work visa and noted that extremely strange clause in their Immigration Act. ;p
So if she gets citizenship in New zealand does that mean that we would both have to stay in New zealand or could we then move to Australia? we wouldnt want to live in New zealand thats the only problem if we cant move straight to Australia. We do want to get married but we can wait :D do we have to be able to prove that we have been together for a set amount of time and do u know how in New zealand? i know that if i was to get a visa to go to australia now i would have to go on an interdependent visa and i would have to prove that me and my fiance have been together for a year and living together which we have. do u know who i would have to get in contact with as the home office offer me no help at all!! we just want to be together and we dont care how we have to do it :D just the easiest way :D. We both want to live in Australia her work is there and i have just come back from there so have no perment job and dont mind moving over there to be with her :D its just all soooo confussing!
NZ is a nice place. Doesn't have all the creatures that can kill you the moment you walk barefoot in your backyard in Australia. ;)
I don't know Australian Immigration Law. But you write English well enough to get a job in Australia. Have you tried to just get a work visa? It's a lot easier and after a few years you'll get a Residence Visa and then petition ofr Full Citizenship without marriage. I don't know of one country (besides NZ) that allows same sex marriage. Sorry.
Yeah so are the box jellyfish that can swim in the streams passing through your backyard or some of the top ten most poisonous spiders that occupy some Aussie garages, or the poisonous snakes that can hang around your yard.
My old Aussie co-workers occupied all our lunch hours with those tales of youthful reminescence of ambulances and emergency rooms through their carefree youthful years. ;p
