I have changed the 5 five numbers just to protect her privacy. Rag'n'Bull Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 8/8/2008 5:34:10 AM   Yes, +380 97 is a Kyivstar mobile number, if you want to test it out by sending a free SMS then go to www.kyivstar.net/en/sms/ After clicking 'send' you can check if it got through by clicking, after a couple of minutes or so, on 'check message status' and when it has gone thru it will say 'delivered to recipient'. Don't know about from USA but from UK to call Ukraine you need to use international code 0038 then a 10 digit number. The 10 digit number always starts with a zero. I sent two tonight and did not get the delivered message for either. I got the message they were enqued and they were sent. Last night I got the delivered message but not tonight. Does that mean they failed. If in ukraine and have a ukrainian number you would start your dialing from 80 99.......if I am correct. If you have talked to girl, then all is right....... Any numbers can be used in the phone number but just because they are the same numbers as the prefix of some carriers means nothing unless they are preceding the last 7 digits. and evil you are correct in the way you would dial that number. 099 and 050 are both valid umc numbers. beemer18 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 8/16/2008 11:38:06 AM   Oz.....380 is ukraine country code and next 2 numbers are city area code/carrier code. At least that is how I remember I read it before. Not sure how the carrier codes are..my umc is 95 and my life is 93. I talked to my lady and she got 2 of the 4 smses that I sent her although 3 of them said they failed. Or actually they first said enqued, then sent but never said received and later they said they timed out and failed. One day maybe I'll get that sms messaging straight. The calling card phoning can be difficult with constant connection problems. Anyone ever used cloncom.com??? If I use the internet I just go to the kiyvstar site which her sim card is on and it is free. I use yahoo messenger for my calls. It is so easy you enter her number in her contact details click twice and it is dialing then there is a button redial if you need to reconnect. You never have to dial in numbers after you enter it the first time. I think it is 17 cents a minute now but it doesnt charge extra minutes like the cards do and you see when it starts charging so if nobody is there disconnect withing 3 seconds and it charges nothing. Yes Beemer it depends when I go to bed and what time she gets up. We talked before I started doing it to make sure she did not sleep with her phone and I would wake her.
